Title: NFL Combine - Bodybuilding Related
Post by: SOMEPARTS on March 05, 2019, 01:23:18 PM
Guy on the right could get on stage. This is a WR doing 27 reps at 225? They don't do ANY testing in the NFL unless they are targeting, haha.

"D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss: Before running a drill or catching a single pass, Metcalf already built a buzz in Indianapolis when he told the media he has 1.9 percent body fat. That statistic ended up just one facet of a remarkable performance. In recording a 4.33-second 40-yard dash, 27 bench press reps and 40 1/2-inch vertical leap at 6-3, 228 pounds, Metcalf put himself in rarefied air as one of the best straight-line athletes in recent combine history. Poor times in the three-cone drill (7.38) and short shuttle (4.50) underscore his need to find flexibility with a bulky frame, but he made a strong case to be the first receiver selected."

Exactly. And Metcalf already has a history of being plagued with injuries.

Ian Rappaport said he was measured at 1.6% BF. I told him in his thread that he’d be damn near dead and said he was 6-8 at best. Then I got into it with Akili Smith about the same thing

1.9% bodyfat. ::)

9% would be a more realistic estimate.

Back when Cowherd was with espn he kept commenting on how Lebron James was 4% body fat. Finally, I couldn't take it and sent him a picture of Nubret and a picture of James at the beach. Remember getting some snide/argumentative email back. These guys are clueless.

LOL Cowherd is the best because he just spouts nonsense and then acts he like he never said it.

Boston went to the Dolphins before he retired. Don't think he even played a down because of injuries.

That's a lot of lean muscle, especially for his height of 6'3.

Why do they even bother with drug testing? They're obviously all using.

Yeah, you need 2-3% just to keep your organs from shutting down.

Every single day on FS1.  He spends all day spouting bullshit and then a few days later after proven wrong he projects it onto his listeners as their opinions and corrects them.  He also has a very punchable face.  Joy Taylor on the other hand. :P
