Title: powerwalks!
Post by: ratherbebig on March 29, 2019, 12:14:15 PM
i just did a 45 minute powerwalk! i probably should've started with them sooner. i even broke a sweat!

now i'm going to make some playlists of good songs to walk to, i found 80s music works very good!

do you powerwalk? if not, you should!

maybe we can suggest music to eachother in this thread that we can put in a playlist.

When ever I go on a walking kick I lose fat quick. I walk fast for about 4.5 to 5 miles.  It really is a fat burner.  What I found is that the cardio from walking doesn't translate to running. While your heart muscle and cardio vascular system is being trained it's not intense.  What I do is walk for 2.5miles. Then I pick an arbitrary land mark like a tree and I sprint to it. Only 30 to 60 yards. I found this keep sprint and power in the legs.  I'm only doing cardio in the form of running twice a week now and I'm gaining weight. Thinking when I get back into dedicated cardio I might do long slow runs.

Don't care about the duration, just start the next one facing the edge of a cliff.

Seems like a quiet and calm neighbourhood without blacks, mojicans or the risk of assault and gangrapes.

Great workout as well, works the body from head to cameltoe.

My gramps used to walk 8 miles each way to work in a factory.

Tough old bird.  Had muscles too.

Was working on his house gutters 25 feet up on a ladder and fell off.  Somehow landed on his feet.

His legs were all black and blue.  Still went to work and did his shift.

Even after he retired he continued to take long walks.

Lived until 97.
