At "O:25", the guy blasts some Death Music on the background Lol
-
Its not death metal. It is “Bleed” by Meshuggah, a metal band that’s an amalgamation of several extreme styles.
And it’s exactly what I’d expect from a hipster metal millennial. Meshuggah kills. However, “Bleed” is from a relatively recent album and has become something of a go-to for sorta-informed metal fans when they want to puff out their (puny) chests.

Still Metal :)

Bleed is an amazing song though, seeing Meshuggah live is on my bucket list.

Never heard of 'em until now, but, young or older I was never a fan of heavy metal.
Not trying to be negative, but most of it reminded me of things breaking or car crashes LOL.
Taste in music is like food, everyone likes something different. That's why they have different foods on the menu.
Question: I was sincerely curious what appeals to you with this kind of music? Thanks.
Oh. You asked him.
To me, represents freedom and a way to deal with aggressiveness.
You should check the band Slayer. Not as heavy and intense as a Death Metal band, but really good :)

Thanks and I've seen/heard Slayer. Not my thing.
When I see a hard rock band -head banging or a rapper waving their arms, I think ; " Calm down." :D
My favorite type of music is "smooth jazz".
Most here would hate my music choices: techno (gym) , classic disco ,classic love songs and smooth jazz.
Yup, I'm a total pussy-cuck LOL ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I like Coltrane and Chick Corea, as well :)
Classic disco? Sylvester and The Weather Girls? I dig it too

Metal pumps me up and makes me feel invincible. I use it as part of my workouts and find myself really in the zone, coursing with attitude and adrenaline it really helps me to grind out those extra few reps. I think it is a healthy way to exorcise latent aggression and anger that festers in the body. Weight lifting and heavy metal are a match made in heaven (or should I say hell?!)

All metal is made for men, but not all men are made for metal.
The music is (usually) highly proficient (excellent, sometimes awe-inspiring, musicianship), powerful, aggressive, dynamic, and simply exhilarating.
It often favours rhythm (yes, rhythm) over melody and is guitar music taken to its extreme.
Heavy metal is rock’s longest-surviving subgenre spawn and is one of the few remaining genres still evolving and pushing the envelope of instrumental virtuosity.
Metal rules.

It's loud guitars, drums, and screaming you can't understand......you take it way too seriously. FFS, there's rich wine snots that don't take it as seriously as you do metal genres. LOL!

I’d not rank death metal as being more intense than thrash metal. Heavier? Case-by-case basis. Certainly more extreme.

Chick Corea just played in town last week. I enjoy Jaco, Chick, Weather Report, etc. Im a life-long metal head, but enjoy other genre's when talent and good music is involved.
No rap, since its not music and it sucks.
