 What causes this? I have never heard the name of a disorder that causes abs to disappear.

IM PRETTY SURE IT IS FROM GUYS NOT TRAINING ABS WITH WEIGHT.....THEIR WHOLE BODY GETS SO LARGE AND SO DOES THEIR GUTS THAT YOU CANT SEE THE AB MUSCLE BECAUSE ITS SMALL.     MY OPINION.

  Maybe that's all it is, but these guys look weird because their abdominal areas are often very lean and vascular and ab-free.

It's like the valleys between the muscle heads fill in, and you are left with a single slab instead of a 6 pack.

This guy just needs to use resistance training with his abs.  That way theyll knot up so they at least show.

It happens with time, from the dieting and drug use, mostly overeating also.
The skin gets thinner, bodyfat levels get lower like never before much easier.
It's pretty much to the point or/and on the verge of where the drugs you were using don't perform the same effects they once used to, it's like burnout on a whole other level.

Its the new lazy bodybuilder...Bob Chick has very thin abs himself...He claims that they only need to be trained twice a week like other bodyparts...Well that might be true for some, it hasn't worked for Bob..
