Getbig in a way pushed Italian bodybuilder Daniele Seccarecci to bring up his conditioning just prior to his 2013 death. He made it ten years longer than Daniele Pozzi though. :(

Test wasn't a bodybuilding thing in the 70's. Powerlifters used it. It was Anadrol 50, Anavar, Winstrol, Deca, Equipose, Primo, Winstrol V, Dianabol, and a few others. No one in bodybuilding that I knew in the 70's used test.

Injectables like deca-durabolin and equipoise were popular stacked with orals pre-contest.

Dont forget to include a lot of guys who lift to look good usually abuse recreational drugs ontop of there stacks. While a lot of these bodybuilders usually abuse mood regulating drugs to balance there emotional stability

Daniele’s coach, Matteo Martinez spoke to the local media and explained what he thought could have possibly lead to the death of his client, Daniele Pozzi.
Speaking to Il Matteo de Padova, Matteo Martinez said that Daniele was one of his new clients. In the four weeks they worked together, Martinez said that he tried to correct some of the bad methods in regarding contest prep that Daniele had.
When asked by Il Matteo de Padova if the cause of death could be due to the use of some sort of substances, Matteo said “He was on zero carbs for a long time and he took substances that can be detrimental to his heart, yes in short, various products.”
Matteo continued “I can only say that I was trying to find the right way to correct Daniele’s ways, to train him in a new way and break the bad habits from his past. I was warned to be careful with him.”

Sergio Olivia, in a magazine interview, said they mainly used test and dianabol or winstrol, though he preferred test and winstrol.

Running 750mgs of Test weekly. I’ve been on Test for 12 years. No acne, bloat or gyno. Very lean at 6’ 203lbs. There are a lot of blotards out there that you’re describing, I’m not one. Have a nice day old man.

When did I say it wasn't simpleton. If you want to know why anabolic steroids were invented you would know why straight test wasn't the drug of choice in the 70's. In late 50's Russian Olympic lifters came out of no where and started to dominate Olympic lifting. In a bar the Russian coach Olympic lifting coach and the American coach had a conversation after a meet. He learned the following. The Russians were using so much testosterone that many of them had prostate enlargement and some had to catheterize them self to take a leak. That's when Dianabol was invented. It had larger anabolic properties with lowered androgen properties compared to straight testosterone. From there all the anabolic derivatives like Winstrol was chemically altered from straight testosterone.

I usually run 500mg weekly. I decided to up it to 750mg then I jumped to 1 gram for 8 months now back to 750mg. I use 1mg of Adex weekly, that keeps my estradiol in range. I have labs done several times a year and no issues. Just had a cardiac ct scan and my calcium score was 0. Check out the Steroids and Health thread on the Steroid Forum, it’s the first thread.

After that supposed 1954 conversation in Vienna , the US weightlifting team went onto beat the Soviets into second place(4 gold medals to 3) in the 1956 Olympics.

This was the team with American weightlifting legends, like Charles "Chuck" Vinci, Tommy Kono and Paul Anderson in it.

I'm not sure why anybody would have considered the Soviet performance as particularly suspicious,as the York Barbell Club lifters, came out of seemingly nowhere to completely dominate weightlifting the post-war 1940's.
