The last decade or so, he's been pretty lean and reasonably sized for his age. Way more fit than he was in the 90's. I'm sure he's probably jumped on a great anti-aging / HRT program. He's even leaner than 5 years ago -

He went through a period of anorexiaor bulimia. He lost weight to play Doc Holliday, who had tuberculosis, and he was always into fitness. He said he went through a depression when Meg Ryan left him and he struggled with anorexia.

I remember the dude as always having abs, although BB says not so much in the 90s. Pretty diced back in the day in Breaking Away. Crazy skinny in The Big Easy. I even celebrated Dennis Quaid's leanness here on Getbig in my cult classic thread Celebrating The Leanness Of Dennis Quaid, which I am sure its four respondents remember fondly.
We should all look as good at 65 and be boning a 26yo, although mine will have more curves and less pointy elbows.

Some people continue these relationships for many years, having children, etc. without the man ever actually making a real commitment.

Men love idealistically, women love opportunistically. Men can not love a woman like a woman can love a man and vice versa. Both sexes have a different look at love/reproduction. Each sex has developed a sexual strategy that combined best suits the survival of next generation.

Just like gravity, there are nature‘s laws in human psychology that are present in each of us all around the world to make sure the best genes are passed on. Whether this is the end result it depends on the options and circumstances. Just because your wife married you for example didn‘t necessarily mean you were the one she really wanted deep down. This is a hard pill to swallow for many people. Sometimes some guy can stir up more emotions in a woman in 1 hour than some other dude she‘s married to can in his whole life.
