Popeyes has partnered with Walmart, and will be giving away a free Chicken Sammich, with each TV purchase.   :o

Black Friday is so stupid.Ive never gone shopping on Black Friday and never will.I do all my shopping online.I get same deals anyways.

That said it should be interesting to see the shit hit the fan all to save a few dollars for junk anyways.

I read that it's a marketing scam for the most part anyways.

They raise the prices a month before on the items they plan sales for. Then lower it to the standard price on black friday.

It truly is a scam for poor people, right?

If you have the money on any given day of the year to buy an item you'd like, you simply buy it. You don't wait around for a "special" day when they supposedly slash prices to finally get your hands on it. Like MAXX said before me, sounds like a scam, but I'd also say it's geared towards the poor. They get these people desperate to spend their money on as many discounted items as they can and before they know it, they've plunged themselves into serious credit card debt and drained their checking accounts of their funds to pay rent and the rest of their home expenses, but hey at least they made out with great deals. I wouldn't be surprised if credit card companies help to sponsor this glorious day at local shopping centers, as it brings them great profits via newly acquired debt, card fees and interest payments.

They do this on newer goods, but the main reason black Friday came to become a thing was for retailers to get rid old stock to make way for new lines

This. ^

The only time I buy something on credit, other than a car or  similar large purchase item, is if I use Best Buy's interest free for 12 to 18 months.  And then I work as hard as possible to pay it off way in advance of the time limit.  As quick as possible.  Otherwise, I pay it off when the bill arrives.  No CC debt.  I hate that stuff.

I don't do Wiggs Friday Sales.  ;D

90% of the stuff I purchased over the past few years has been via AMAZON PRIME or Ebay.

Very cheap prices and free  delivery ... and now it seems that whatever I order... arrives the next day.

I honestly believe that within five years, shopping centers will be extinct.

And I feel the same way about movie theaters as I've never seen more than 5 people in any movie theater here in Vegas during the afternoon showings.

Movie fans only go at night I guess.

One major theater here will only be open at night starting 1 January.

So ... Goodbye shopping centers and eventually ... movie houses.
