I'm still trying to get over smashing every lady in the game and then having them all ultimately shun me in the Witcher 3.

All I wanted was to have him end up with ultrababe Yennifer, but alas, the programmers saw fit to punish my whorish ways.

I still have a couple episodes to go but show is garbage like most "Netflix Originals" shows these days.  Hard to believe this was a big-budget production with so much hype.

Thanks for the heads up.  I thought it wouldn't be any good.

I'd say watch the first three episodes then create your own opinion.

Ep 2 was quite slow since it was pure character development for Yennefer.

I thought the last episode was very good and have changed my opinion slightly.

First and last episodes were strong, the rest in the middle not so strong and seemed pretty cheaply made for such a hyped big-budget show.  Effects look half-finished.  Looking forward to season #2 on the strength of the last episode if they can keep it going.

BB-related, this chick on the show has a fantastic rack:

i just finished esp 2.  it has too much nonsensical filler magic talk, too many long-winded conversions.  episodes should be shaved down to 45 mins from 60 mins.  Yennefer is very good as is the young princess.  Cavill just isn't a leading man but the wooden nature of the character suits him well

Agree Cavill is not great imo, and it seems long winded... Trying to be a new game of thrones?

The First Law trilogy could be great if they went the movie route with it.

I understand you felt ep 2 was slow (with Yennefers character buildup and development), but it gets better.

Watch ep 3 as well G!
