A 6'2" 300+lb guy, who's fast, or really skilled UFC fighter who's smaller and about half as strong? Just wondering cuz i saw this tapout fighter guy whos about 5'9 180ish actin up and staring a huge ass mofo that looked crazy. Would superior skill or superior everything else determine a fight?

MMA is the great equalizer. Look at royce gracie, he has the build of an accountant. Tied my hero up (shamrock) in little knots with that jui-juicey,gum stuff. :'(
Lil guys will kick a knee and a giant will fall. so i think its even if skills are comparable.

Thats true, 300lb guy was ripped though. They should throw a 500lb sumo wrestler in the octagon with middle weight and see what would happen.

Strength is a huge advantage - but you must take everything into account. But anybody that tells you strength doesn't matter in a fight doesn't know about fighting.

I'd say the 300lb with B- tech cuz he's physically stronger and just as conditioned, and can at least prevent gettn submitted, but what the fk do i know, I'm 5'5", I just uppercut fkrs in the kneecap and run.

hahaha! alexxx is my freind so you're right........honestly a skilled fighter will win most of the time. but whos to say the bigger man isn't skilled :-\ it all depends where..... a bar, a cage, the street ect. i once fought this guy outside a stripclub i prob had 100lbs on him. he hit me prob 20 times before i could get a hold of him!

Small guys CAN definitely put down larger fighters. I've seen a lot of street fights where the big guy walked into the fight like it was going to be cake against the smaller guy but the smaller guy took it very serious. There is nothing quite as good as seeing the expression on a big guys face when he realizes he's just got stomped by a guy much smaller than him. The ring is s different story. Both fighers are trained and serious about their opponent. Advantage=bigguy.

I'll go by my own personal experience. I trained with Rixson and Royce. When either of them submitted me during training I truly could not get out because they had me in positios where when I tried to get out it would hurt more. Like they would have their arm positioned so when I moved I apply pressure to my own joint and it would hurt more. Now in real life I have only been in a few real fights (not counting being a bouncer for about 5 years total where I am breaking up fights or kicking people out). I mean one on one. Only once has a guy been bigger than me. And I never throw the first punch. It takes allot to get me pissed and being hit does it so I always let the other guy make a move. I did have a guy talk allot. Then he says I need to warn you I am a black belt, and before he finsihed belt I grabbed him and after just two punches he was out. I had one guy grab me from behind in a half-assed bear hug and I literally bent forward and ran us both into the DJ booth and broke everything in sight. We both went right threw it. I think I am aware enough to know a smaller guy will go for my legs first. SO I would always know that. Plus I wrestled and I am pretty good against any type of single leg or shoot. I can't see many guys getting away from me if I grab them. I like that way anyway. Justgrab them and run them full speed into whatever stops us then punch till he sleeps if needed. Pretty simple. But I am pretty lucky not many guys want to fight me so I have been lucky.

That is laughable, unless you are 4'2 and 105 pounds. I doubt the midget division has many people.

I am bouncing every weekend at a club and so far so good. Guys are too scared to make a move. It doesn't matter if they are bigger or smaller I will wipe their asses!
Superstar is probably better at wrestling. If he gets a hold of you then its lights out! :o
Me I was trained at striking so that is my forte.
