It is were I worked out this afternoon. What a pisser! Tomorrow I work quads and the LA Fitness I go to has my favorite equipment for working legs. So far, 24 Hour Fitness is staying open and upping measures to keep equipment sanitized. That's where I'll be tomorrow afternoon.

i'd advise the front desk to turn off the lasko or tornado fans.  you don't need gale force wins circulating aerosols.  they won't get it but ask them to think what happens when someone who is possibly infected sneezes in front of a fan, kinda extends that 3-6 ft range.  also, don't bring a beverage.  every time you take a sip of water you are transferring something from the equipment - the cap.  don't rub yr eyes, touch your nose or mouth.  if their janitorial services are point on, you should be good to go til you get home and disinfect yourself. ibring your own cavicide (usually used to clean respiratory equipment),  i'm still contemplating going or not.

I thought about the fans because it's been mentioned before. The only fans at this gym are part of the HVAC in the ceiling, which is at least 20 ft. away. Most of the cardio equipment have built in mini fans. I wiped it down before it came on. They start automatically. I'm not too stressed about it.

All gyms in New Jersey are ordered to close by the direction of the Governor until further notice. This hysteria is getting out of hand. The highways were empty at rush hour with no one going to work with colleges, high schools and elementary schools closed.
