Ancient Indian culture has had quite an influence on the South East Asian Countries which now follow Buddhism. I think China and Japan must have incorporated some of their own beliefs in the versions of Buddhism they follow, which is a bit different to the Theravada Buddhism of Thailand, Cambodia and Burma.

Because for some odd reason when we go bald the hair on our face grows faster and thicker. And because it makes us appear tough. Being tough guys means we don't give a shit about French words like cliche. ;D
