Very common practice until recently - some new laws limit the bribes. Had a friend, a cute blonde, who was a pharmaceutical rep. The payoffs she told me about were amazing. Yes, doctors prescribe often based on kickbacks- no surprises there. There is even a website showing the biggest takers.

the whole industry needs a black lives matter type of culling. The bribing for these drugs makes me angry knowing how many people ive known that died trusting doctors
