Hey guys, please be informed that IFBB pro Wong Hong has a new web site at www.wonghong.net
Do check it out :) :) :)

I never heard of him , but after seeinh his pics , I was very impressed.
Pity he has a small waist and good balance, etc. In the IFBB ya gotta be freaky huge.
That is sad when guys like this won't be considered with great physiques, but are not all swloed like some big refridgerator.
Perhaps the PDI would suit this physique more?

Kind of hard to be a pro bodybuilder in the IFBB when all but 2 contests are in the USA and you're not allowed in for 5 years for staying past your visa.

It wasn't worth it considering his placing at that T.O. Show

Bet he has a great powder source...
actually, he gained most of his mass in New York City. Use to see him all the time at Steel Gym.
in 1999 and 2000 he entered the IFBB Asian Championships, World Championship, then Musclemania, all supposedly drug tested contests.
he then moved to NYC (without the permission of the US government) and in 2002 won two NPC contests.
then in 2004, flew to Toronto to enter his first pro contest. When he tried to re-enter the USofA, he was denied. finally had to return to Malaysia.

Wong's first pro contest was not the Toronto Pro 2004. His first pro contest was NOC 2003. I think he did 3 pro shows since he turned pro in 2003. :)

From an interview on Getbig where you can learn more about him...
Wong Hong isn't your typical professional bodybuilder. He hasn't won any major pro titles yet, so what separates him from the rest? Wong speaks three languages. He has a Masters Degree. He goes on vacations to pray - Wong is a Buddhist- to places like Thailand and China. He has seamlessly adapted to life in the West after his rearing in the East. Wong Hong has a tiny, pinched waist and clean lines; a physique unmarred by synthol or a bloated abdomen. Furthermore, Wong isn't an egotistical maniac. He takes family seriously and isn't above giving credit where credit is due. These are just a few of the many accomplishments of this multi-faceted man who made bodybuilding fans take notice when he first stepped on a pro stage at the now-defunct Night of Champions in 2003 and 2004. Bigger things are bound to come Wong's way, and you are reading about him here first!

Monster humility.
He is a Renaissance man. It must be difficult for him to be modest.

Nah I believe he is around 5'8 or 9 when I saw him

This is Iht Mai Shoo, he's a judge in the Pan Asian equivalent of the IFBB. Here is a quote from him regarding Wong Hong
"Wong Hong will make fine husband for your daughter. I will offer him for two cows."
