This is what Covid-19 is:

A virus with a 99.73% survival rate for people under 70.

Who would be afraid of such a virus without being brainwashed into being afraid of it? If the morbidity rate was, I don't know...AT LEAST 10x that...then I could buy normal people being afraid of it.

IMO, the only person only 70 who could be afraid of this virus would be someone who is brainwashed of it. I'll give my mom a pass because she's 60, but THAT'S IT. She's getting close to the decade where there is a risk you can legitimately sense.

I had to inform the police that it was illegal for them to trespass me from places for not wearing a mask. ::) Fucking geniuses. And I'm pro-police.

Zero chance this keeps up. The dumbest fucks will continue to double down, but a virus with this low of a mortality rate won't keep people afraid. I'm not so certain I think anyone in the world has the power to release a bio-weapon with a significantly higher mortality rate. I can't rule that out though - and that would axe the dissident movement.

I wish I lived in Northern Idaho.

Some good comments here - literally everything I've known in my life is getting banned...it's pretty surreal living through this. I'm starting to think the only thing left for the universe to cancel at this point is my existence.

Oh gosh...I've probably heard of a half dozen cases like this by now:

- B.C. Conservative politician went to Jamaica on vacation.
- Ontario NDP politician went to visit her "ailing grandmother" in Greece.
- Alberta female Liberal politician I think went on vacation in Hawaii.

I may be confusing the 1st and 3rd there. But something like that. I think an Ontario mayor was caught.

Meanwhile, my 88-year-old grandmother lives two blocks up my street, and I've not seen her since this shite started. Granted, that's by her choice, but it still annoys me. Admittedly, she is in the at-risk group, so...I can't REALLY blame this situation on the news. But how many of her remaining years does she want to go without seeing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren? ??? But oh well, at least I feel that's primarily her choice.

Not seeing my kids more than once a month lately due to travel restrictions is infuriating though.

I will just be breaking the rules soon - I don't give a fuck. Arrest me. I'm not going to see my kids once a month for the rest of my life. They aren't very far from me, and enough is enough.

I went down there. Cops arrested some people who organized the protest and it fizzled out. Cops basically discouraged anyone from gathering.

Just about anyone that I know who is a real athlete - loves golf or at least plays. It’s a helluva lot harder to become good. Baseball, football and basketball came pretty naturally - but athletic ability isn’t enough to get good at golf. It’s just not worth the time. Good enough to hang with just about any business interest is about all I cared about. I can’t waste an entire day multiple times a week without getting bored as hell and feeling like a slacker.
