It shows in the end results...  LOL.

Pretty much if you can't show your work, you can't do it.  So yeah... makes sense.

What's the big deal?

I skimmed the article, how does requiring students to show their work equate to white supremacy?

Students should show their work.  It shows how they came to the answer.  If they know the answer then they know how they got it and should be able to show it.

We have to stop this PC BS.

Yes they do, at least internally and for regulatory purposes.

Same thing as a Structural Engineer; when i used to design bridges i had to provide heavily detailed calculations that were reviewed for regulatory and safety purposes.

It's even worse in areas that are prone to earthquakes, just preparing the calculation booklet took weeks of time. We actually stopped doing work in California because their regulatory process was so overbearing we couldn't make money off any projects.
