It confirms a remarkable comeback by Hubbard, who at 43 will be the oldest weightlifter at Tokyo 2020.
Only three years ago she feared her career was over because of a serious elbow injury sustained at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
Hubbard’s best total in qualifying is 285 kilograms, which puts her very much in the reckoning for a place on the podium in the women’s super-heavyweights in Tokyo.
Is this person's 285-kg total even remotely impressive among males? I'm not familiar what Olympic lift totals even represent...but to be the oldest competitor, past the prime age of strongmen by about five years if not more [which may or may not be the prime age for Olympic lifters], and injured, no less - I'm guessing teen males in much lighter weight classes routinely beat this total?
Was this...thing...in the news attempting to sue some powerlifting organization over the same topic?
If biological males are allowed to compete in women's sports, we may as well say goodbye to women's sports now.

There are WNBA contracts/NBA welfare worth millions and there are tons of great male basketball players who played D1 college,D2 or even junior college or almost made NBA and got cut or played in Europe that would damn sure put on a dress for a million a year and play the act.
