Don't feel bad. I made it up. ;) It is from the slang word 'splains' and a derivative of mansplain, ladysplain, whitesplain, etc. It is a portmanteau (combining two words into one).

I find I learn the best by putting these terms to use. So if I combine soggy and queer into sogeer that's a portmanteau? What about bloviate and homosexual into blovosexual?
