Title: Anybody ever been to Buenos Aires?

Thinking of that as a destination for a trip this fall. Is Baraloche better? Any gyms around there (BB related).

I was visiting Senor Adolf hacienda  :D, it was like traveling around Bavaria , a lot of Guten Morgen !.  ;)

President Eisenhower loved gauchos land, he traveled 600 km from Buenos Aires just to have a coffee with .......... ;D

Bad weather stopped me from crossing Rio de la Plata to visit Montevideo !.

I’ve been.  It’s ok.  Don’t get your heart set on great gyms.  Sometimes the best ones you may find are  in the biggest hotels.  Or the Planet Fitness (if it’s still open).  There are some affiliated gyms like Megalome or something like that.  No idea what they are like though. Just enjoy the vacation.

No, but I love both Rio and Sao Paolo. Different language but in same general neck of woods.

All of Central and South America is like this.

Why people go there on vacation is beyond me.

Stay in the big cities.

Don't go out at night.

Speak the language.

Don't act special.

Don't wear nice clothing.

Don't flash money, carry small bills.

Don't be an asshole or cause trouble.

You should be fine.

I've spent many years in Venezuela and Mexico for work.

I would never go there by choice on vacation.
