We already know children with underlying conditions probably need that bullshit in a syringe, already know a dumb family brought a sick child on vacation with them to Hawaii and they killed him. Healthy kids have minor-baby flu symptoms and move on like Honey Badgers. Basically, a kid shows up in a SoCal ER with normal flu-like symptoms and they DX that as severe Covid b/c the parent brought him or her to the hospital to be seen even though he/she went home for quarantine for 10 days. I know a dozen adults who had 10 quarantines with no real symptoms.

Are you sure about that number (99%)? COVID keeps mutating and the virologist don't know what is going to happen with this virus in the future. For example, supposedly, Delta is making younger folks sick. Hospitals and ICU's are once again filling up with people who are seriously ill and have less chance of recovering that those who only get a mild case. Many of those milder cases being people who are in fact vaccinated. In the U.S. only about 150 of the more than 18,000 COVID-19 deaths in May were in fully vaccinated people. If this is correct, it sure looks as if the vaccine is somewhat beneficial.....in the event one prefers not to die from COVID.

Thank you for your opinion. Where I live, mandates are beginning. You can't visit someone in a hospital or nursing home unless you have a negative test or proof of vaccination. Just the beginning.
One more thing to consider it hospital admissions, mortality ans infections vary by state. There is not a one size fits all approach, but that's exactly how the government is treating this.

Hospitals near me are nowhere near capacity.... Why is that not being considered when we talk about mandates, lockdowns and other restrictions? Some states may be near capacity and they should be treated independently. This is not a one-size-fits-all like the government is attempting.
