Title: Remember when Arnold called Franco a child and he's the father?
Post by: pellius on September 19, 2021, 04:30:54 AM: When I first saw that when PI first came out I remember thinking what a horrible thing to say about your best friend. I wasn't that familiar with Arnold at that time and that really rub me the wrong way and I wondered what Franco thought about this comment.

Maybe Arnold wasn't that far off. As much as that comment disturbed me, this pic disturbs me even more.

Pumping Iron was a scripted movie , from Arnolds' "cold comments " to the disappearance of Mike Kats shirt .

Franco was a 5'3" poor dude from a recondite hood in Italy , no bank account , some teeth missing etc .

Arnold brought him to the USA , just to train, juice (learn a bit of english) and hangout at the beach with friends driving him around and treating him like some super star , featured on magazines and enjoying the best the IFBB had to offer at the time with a decent salary from Weider .
