GF got Covid. Her school called and told her it’s ok to come back on campus since she’s vaccinated within 6 months of the date of infection and that means she can’t spread the virus.
Only problem is, she got it from someone that was vaccinated.
Told her they are following CDC guidelines.
Absolutely no logic anymore.

I was fully vaccinated. I got OMICRON and then I transmitted it to one of my neighbors. This neighbor had not been outside of his apartment for over 2 weeks. On his first day out, he walked over to our home (across the hallway) and during an evening of having our family members share time together, he walked away with COVID and his entire family got it.
So tired of the CDC and their downright lies. No integrity or accountability.

My case was a bit different than you - I decided to test my immune system afte having not been sick for a long time.
Then - BOOM - COVID. I didn't even find out until I got a requisition form for antibody testing over a year later.
Two days after becoming sick, COVID hit the Canadian news cycle [around February 20th, 2020].
Since I only had a long flu, I didn't think I had COVID.
Unbeknownst to me at the time, COVID IS just a flu for some people.
But hey - we have natural immunity now, right? And that's strong immunity based on all available data.
I am concerned about just ONE thing about getting COVID - which is the four HIV inserts in it's generic code.
But even HIV seemed to be a bit of hype to me on Fauci's part in the 1980s.
Currently I'm worried about Canada becoming more authoritarian...but I'm not worried about COVID. Should I be?

I think it's possible some people are making their own rules.
My friend's friend was having a c-section, and they told her to put on a mask during surgery. That it was the rule. A nurse said she had to.
She demanded to see proof of that rule.

People are just scared.
Like when someone called 9-1-1 on me for not wearing a mask. She was breaking the law to use 9-1-1 like that.
Cops were breaking the law to show up.

Our town board of health did vote in a mask mandate for stores, and even admitted it was their opinion and not back by anything...f'n dumb.
Most people I know are over this, and trying to have common sense about it.

It's easy to see how misinformation gets spread. Someone says that the CDC "said" this and then everyone just proceeds to pass it along as if it's true
