I think either the 80-89 age range or the 80+ age range is a 1 in 4 death rate.
BUT - for people aged 80+ with no health conditions, it's still something like a 98.5% survival rate [3 out of 200 HEALTHY people that age will die].
That said, MOST people that age have SOME health condition, if not more than one...
One thing forgotten this whole pandemic is that people literally don't seem to understand that the older we get, the more probability we have of dying... ::)
