Title: Chris Confessore & Scott Werner Bench workout
Post by: Gym-Rat on March 04, 2022, 01:40:29 AM
confessore was quite the lifter. great bencher but also did full-power meets
died in a car-crash around 2013 i believe

couple of gym bro's in tights just lifting
different times, not a cell-phone in sight (or masktards)  :)
good old gym-days

his best raw-bench was 365 as a 165 lb. lifter
did 662 in single-ply weighing 198
did 738 in multi-ply weighing 236

the raw-bench at that low bodyweight is more impressive than the rubber-shirt lifts.

Confessore started in the lighter weights and moved all the way up to a heavyweight before he died.

This, I was under the impression that he was incredibly strong. I guess without the super shirt he wasn't that strong
