People are so conditioned to it now, Stockholm syndrome. A good portion don’t mind getting covid because they take a week off work and chill at home.
When business reopened the claim was people wanted to be back in the office. Our CBD has a 40% return rate and the push to work from home is so large the resignations Happening in business is forcing ‘job flexibility’ to allow people to work from home.
The killer for 90% is their inability to work autonomously while at home. Their productivity drops. IT departments are tracking screen and app time so don’t think you can walk away from that laptop, they see it. Likely outcome as I have always said is a 4 day work week is coming for the masses in order to avoid paying you more money.
It’s a win-win short term, you get a day for free, business gets the same productivity (plebs don’t realise that and think they are getting one over ‘the man’).

There is already a vaccine for this: for smallpox (but works well to prevent monkeypox) which you probably have already received if you are of a certain age, or have been in the military. Smallpox was a regular childhood vaccine until 1972, when it was considered eradicated. Was given with an air gun into your arm. Left a very distinct scar. Still today everyone in the US military going overseas is required to get it. Don't think they use the air gun any more.

Shingles is very painful. I know many family members and friends who have gotten it. That's why I got the shingles vaccine as soon as I was eligible.

Yep. Several cases among the elderly at my gf's aged care facility shortly after covid vaccination. Zero prior.
