Matarazzo and Hernon acknowledged the dangers of steroids, and the health consequences. It is worthwhile to hear these people acknowledge the danger... even if it’s too late.

Brutal if true

Brutal.
He has a family predisposition to heart problems.
Who from his family had heart problems?
No idea

It's better to be natty, srs

Hernon reminded me of an attorney who quickly jumped on a false witness during a cross examination 😃
All of Dave’s “genetic predisposition” rhetoric over the years has been BS

Marty you making sense all of a sudden! You coming back to us?
-
So it wasn't major drug abuse, and being 120-lb over his natural weight?
-
I don't believe they let phil on another panel after this lol.
He was pretty much on the bodybuilding is all for nothing vibe by that point, and it's an argument hard to refute.

His great great grandfather died of a heart attack.
-
seems they cut him off

Hernon speaks the truth and likely doesn’t get an invite back. The last few years it’s been obvious to see that steroids have health implications.

The first "Dorian Era" [>Drugs] bodybuilder to die was Sonny In 2004.
Since then, there have been deaths every year. But especially the last few years.

fixed

Very convenient moment for his connection to "freeze".

Very likely :-\

Dave is such a joke.

Very likely :D
Dave probably has a hidden panic button that he presses that causes his guests to experience a choppy, intermittent cell phone connection 😂

I love how they constantly say they use less roids than the next guy ... only gym rats abuse roids
WoooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

They always seem to forget to mention the abuse of Human Growth Hormone
And when they do mention it, they down play it

he's all LBA's

Damn. Forgot their has been so many deaths hard to keep up at this point.
I remember when Matarazzo died, everyone blamed genetic predisposition and pointed the finger at him for eating a lot of peanut butter and red meat. He would admit he would take grams of test a week and get tired of all the shots.

The predisposition stuff in this case is actually true.
It was in his autopsy and I think his father died from a widow maker heart attack in his 30s or something.
Dallas was either a true moron or had a death wish pushing the gas the way he did knowing all this.

This could be fake news? It seems as though Dave Palumbo and Phil Hernon and Lee Priest would’ve known this info before doing a show on the subject.

I haven't watched the video, but it was made post autopsy results and a note of it is even made on daves channel.
"Should there be drug testing in bodybuilding?
It's Lee Priest vs. Phil Hernon on the latest episode of Iron Debate, the show that settles the score on all of bodybuilding's hottest topics.
Phil Hernon has been very vocal on recent Facebook videos (search Phil Hernon to view) since Dallas McCarver's autopsy report was released. Does he have a point, or, do competitive bodybuilders have the right to make decisions - knowing full well what risks are entailed?
As always, Dave Palumbo has the final word!"
Here is part of the autopsy
"McCarver had a family history of cardiovascular disease including both hypertension and atherosclerosis."

It’s never the massive amounts of steroids abuse, it’s all predisposed conditions, for odd reasons, every bber have some sort of genetic defect in their DNA that causes them to have health issues, never gear or excessive food or protein

Making it even smarter for them to run 15-25g of gear per week.
