First price is in Huntington Beach, second in LA…
I find the prices you posted a bit off in that according to Gas Buddy, gas prices today in Huntington Beach are considerably less. The highest price for regular $5.99 a gallon is at the Arco station located at 5981 Warner Ave, Huntington Beach, CA
https://www.gasbuddy.com/gasprices/california/huntington-beach
The most expensive in L.A. is the Arco station in Buena Park with regular @ $5.89 a gallon. https://www.gasbuddy.com/gasprices/california/los-angeles
It is a little over $5.00 a gallon in West Linn, OR which is higher than a week ago. I generally buy gas while I am shopping at Costco. It is about .40 less per gallon than elsewhere.
This year's annual rate of inflation in the U.S. is 8.3%. In England it is nearly 10%, Venezuela has the highest rate of inflation in the entire world is over one million percent.

Thanks…I’ll let Chevron know that Primemuscle from Getbig said they were off and the pictures that I took with my own camera are fake

I did not say your photos were fake. I said they are a bit off. Gas Buddy is usually very accurate. According to GasBuddy, today the Mobil station located at 15001 Goldenwest St, Huntington Beach, CA is the highest for regular @ $6.79. Can you explain this? Did you take the photos with 'your own camera' today or at some point in the past when gas prices were higher?
-
I'm not American and even I know Chevron prices are nearly always higher than other local places as it's meant to be a premium fuel.
Yet here we have tweedledee and tweedledum arguing about prices without considering the above.

My mid-term election ballot is on the way. Red tide coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not that accurate.
It has not given me one accurate price at a gas station here in years. But it's close enough.
Right now, it says the gas station by my house is at $3.26. This morning it was at $3.59.
Not a huge swing but not accurate either.

There are three Chevron Stations in my neighborhood. Usually, all three of them have the same price. When I just checked they were each 10 cents a gallon apart with the highest being $5.59. The lowest price here is at the 76 station, which was charging $5.25 for regular yesterday. This supports your claim.
If Coach needs gas, he should head over to the Chevron on 16921 Algonquin St., Huntington Beach, CA because surprisingly they are the cheapest at $5.19 a gallon for regular. While he's there he should take a photo of their posted prices. ;) Good thing you posted 'nearly always', otherwise you'd be wrong.

Gas buddy relies on folks reporting the prices. Therefore, they are not always accurate. Also, gas prices change from one day to the next, so it depends on when the report was made. Some are within minutes and others are a day or more old. It is hard to believe gas going up several dollars a day, based on what Coach posted. I am not saying his photos are fake though. ;D

Yeah, i read about how they get the data, so it makes sense to be off a bit from day to day.
I'm just glad that gas has gone down ~$1 a gallon here in the last few months.

$6.70/gallon in Riverside County.

$2.89 Chevron
$2.41 BJs

$3.88 here...............I`m amazed it has droppded so low....................F OR NOW!!

Thanks, was literally there today. It’s the Huntington Harbor car wash. It was over $6. It’s 2 miles from my house. Anything else your little computer skills are missing?

I just got gas in Los Angeles yesterday. It was $6.59 cash price. Credit would have been 20 cents more a gallon. I gave the guy a $100 bill. It filled my tank to 3/4 full. The MOST I have ever spent for gas in my 51 years on this planet. Under that mean Orange Guy, I would fill my gas tank for $65 on average during his whole 4 years. So, fuck you gas buddy BS and stop trying to defend how terrible this administration is. YES, IT IS THEIR FAULT FOR EVERYTHING BEING FUCKED UP IN THE WORLD.

It really is. And not admit just shows retardation.
I try to admit when Im wrong, and I have been here and apologized to folks.
To say things like "economy has nothing to do w/ the president" is ignorance.
Especially in these times.
We were the biggest oil exporters for 4 years under ultimate-orange.
This turd (diaper shitter) killed it with the swipe of a pen. MY gas went from 1.89 to 5.09.
(Yeah, zero to do w/ anything) ::)
Its down to 3.49 now which is OK, but still not 1.89... Fuel affects everything, from MANUF, to deliveries, importation, everything...

Exercising my 'little computer skills' since you brought it up.
How far over $6? Is it almost a buck over like you previously posted? How much is that Chevron station in L.A. charging today that was charging $8.35 a gallon? Below is a screenshot of the price of gas at the Huntington Harbor Car Wash 6 hours ago.
-
Until diesel gas drops, our cost of transporting goods will continue to be exponentially high, and so will our products.
All the bragging about gas dropping under $4 (even though it was under $3 pre Biden) is stupid. Yes, it will help the average driver to an extent, but not the professionals.

LOL @ PrimeSog using gasbuddy to argue gas prices with locals. I tried that app and it was .15-.20 off on my local stations. Fuck democrats.

this is a global issue and isn't localised to the USA and cant be pinned to one party; unless Sleepy Joe can also affect the fuel prices in Europe where they have also increased.

It’s pretty accurate in real time except when it isn’t.

the poor just remain poor, and imo middle class is a myth. You can ask 1000 people of varying incomes and they'll all have different ideas on what constitutes middle class. There's only 2 real classes, working class and owner class.

Guess the real question is, are we better off today than two years ago. And why inflation rose from 1.4% to near 9 % in less than two years since the new administration took over. (not getting political here but WTF)
Over looked but a disaster ready to happen is the current White House draining from the vital U.S. oil reserves. That's going to be the real worry.
I live in San Diego county, and gas prices went up above a dollar almost over night. Told in LA that in some stations it $9+. Some driving to TJ for gas.
Personal view, would never depend on Gas Buddy or anyone else. Always a coupe of clicks behind if wanting current prices now. .

Youre not getting political, youre asking normal, common sense questions.
And everyone should question everything...

is this administration also responsible for the 80% inflation rate in turkey? or the 15% in russia or brazil? what about the 8% in australia? is that somehow bidens fault too?

It's true. You do not. You never use communist, socialist or marxist in the right context. Ever. It's just another example of your fragile X filtering out the reality of simple words and concepts.

Actually, I do but regardless, none of it works or ever has. Btw, I know what I think you because all indications point it. Where you think you fall? Socialist or Marxist? “Biden is doing a great job” - Lurker

I'm having fun. How about you? How about Coach? Are you taking this nonsense seriously? Not that Coach would do this, ::) but since there is no date stamp on his visual proof it is only partial proof. Who knows when he took those photos. I spent a couple of minutes looking up gas prices on Gasbuddy, while he was driving around L.A. County burning his expensive gasoline while taking photos of price signs at various gas stations. I dislike these kinds of comments, but it is appropriate here, between Coach and I, who owns whose mind?
Previously, I made it clear that high gas prices have a nominal effect on me since I buy gas once a month or less often. Even if I weigh in the increase in the costs of goods and services, I am not a big consumer as compared to most folks, so I am not personally feeling the pinch of inflation.
-

No this is not fun.
This is real life.
How dare you try to entertain yourself at the expense of others!!!
You not feeling the pinch of inflation is insensitive and shows how far you are removed from real life and why you think this type of behavior is appropriate.

My diesel fuel bill for September was just shy of $35,000. Same trucks/equipment for the last few years and my fuel bills used to average about $9,800. I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but diesel should be nowhere near as high as gasoline. It’s not as refined. This shit is out of control.

I paid 3.23. Not too bad compared to other places.
Of course 1.89 is much better.
Working at home though, I fill up once every 2 weeks.
If I didnt drive 10 mins to the gym 4-5 days a week, my car would rot from non-use...
Heating oil's coming today, we'll see how that goes. I think its still up between 4.50 - 5.00 a gallon.
-
Honestly I think the era of cheap gas is over. We might see some transient drops but I think high gas prices are here to stay.

Manlet gonna manlet
Also the best selling cars in the US by an order of magnitude are pick up trucks and 4x4s. Is everyone in the US working as a handyman or farmer or something? When this shit storm peaks and some bodybuilding manlet moans about the cost of filling up his pick up truck or some soccer mum cries about having to give up her SUV, it won't be a tragedy it will be entitlement at its finest.

right, i think the eventual outcome will be huge government subsidies to maintain low oil prices for consumers. Western life is dependent on cheap oil and our leaders will stop at nothing to keep the party going
