C-19 lockdowns and restrictions have conditioned Kiwis of a certain age to roll with it.

Radical new laws will stop young people from EVER buying cigarettes as nation goes 'smoke-free' - so is Australia set to follow?
Anyone aged under 14 banned from EVER buying cigarettes in their life
The age limit will be increased each year until it's illegal throughout New Zealand
The target is to wipe out smoking entirely by 2025 as part of a 15-year program
A poll in Medical Journal of Australia found most backed a ban on cigarette sales

I’d avoid any nation willing to ban cigarettes. What NZ did to its citizens in the name of zero C-19 was awful. Besides, here in the U.S. our exposure to cigarette smoke is now almost voluntary.
And their authoritarian PM:
“We will continue to be your single source of truth,”…”remember that, unless you hear it from us, it is not the truth.”

Next it will be meat. It's funny how so many want to ban cigarettes while making hard drugs legal.
-
NZ has "free" government provided health care for all so they probably want to reduce costs.
All those smokers with lung cancer are clogging up the hospitals wasting tax money.

True. This is something Americans don't consider when insisting on free healthcare.

Will they be changing their flag to include the swastika?
