Here's the question for current pundits and future historians to ponder
Is Greene intentionally lying or is she just so fucking stupid that she has no idea that she got so many basic facts wrong (including that she thought Joe Biden was POTUS when she was in high school in 1990). I wonder if that whiny little bitch will show up in this thread and claim I'm "stalking" him

MTG is just an idiot. After all, it isn't a lie if she actually believes it. :D

Now we know its Straw Bob... His use of "Traitor" and the severe TDS w/ Lurker is quite obvious.
Plus StrawBob whined when I made fun of ass-fukking his dead dad too.
The brutal TDS is hilarious...

Part of the reason they impeached him along party lines for the first time in history, despite Pelosi and others saying partisan impeachments were bad, is so people can attach the label to him like you just did. Same with the indictment. Doesn't matter if he is convicted. They just wanted the label to attach. It's like a marketing campaign.
Same with the Russian Manchurian Candidate nonsense. They have you folks repeating the number of indictments and convictions, despite the fact most of the indictments were dismissed and none of the convictions had anything to do with Trump being a Russian spy.
Meanwhile, the Constitution, due process, equal protection, and civil liberties are being destroyed.

Pretty sure the indictment is due to something he did.
No the Constitution, due process, equal protection, and civil liberties are being destroyed. It would be if his actions were ignored.

You say the indictment is due to "something he did" then say no "due process" problem. That is comical. The foundation of due process is notice of what you are being accused of and an opportunity to be heard.
The government does prosecute people for "something he did." It has to be an allegation of violation of a specific law. The indictment does not identify an underlying crime.

Eat shit and choke Trumpturd.
He was also the only POTUS to lose the popular vote twice (and he might make it 3 times in 2024)
But one of the weirdest things about Trump is that he is the only person, while serving as POTUS, to publicly claim on multiple occasions to have fallen in love with another man
Not just any random funboy, but he claimed to have fallen in love with the homicidal dictator of one of our enemies. I'm sure he will be the first and last POTUS to ever have done that

Yep, it's the first thing they do when they are getting their ass kicked
They don't seem to realize that their graphic posts about gay sex are only revealing what is going on inside their head
BTW - a certain Mod who complains about "censorship" has deleted my post multiple times and then changed it completely another time
Seems he doesn't like me pointing out that Trump claims that he fell in love with another man

Your tactic to "win an argument" is to post last, and that post usually involves name calling as there is nothing the left has done to brag about. It's not the same as winning an argument.

Interesting comment about a certain mod's moderating choices.
It was a long time ago, but some of my posts were deleted because they 'violated' a rule regarding posting nudity on the Gossip and Opinions board. If I remember correctly, this resulted in my getting a few days in timeout. LOL! If nudity was an issue here, how come multiple posts of naked women in the Random Pictures thread are not taken down. The issue was mine were mostly photos of 'naked' men with very artistic professional body paint. Homophobia on Getbig is a major issue. But it is what it is and it is absolutely hilarious when folks/mods are dishonest.
Another interesting aspect to Getbig and lack of moderating is that blatantly racist comments are allowed to stay up despite according to Ron's guidelines/rules, racist remarks are not allowed.... "No racist language, and no baseless attacks on people." What utter bullshit this is!

I could do that. Thanks for the suggestion and your concern about my family interactions. I am not exactly a hermit like I suspect some folks on Getbig are... quite the opposite.
As I previously mentioned, my grandkids are grand-adults in their mid-20's and early-30's. Three of them live in Germany. I see them every couple of years when they visit me or I them. One grandson, his fiancée and their almost 3-year-old daughter live in the same house as I do. I see and spend time with them pretty much every day as do I with my daughter and son-in-law.
Are you an empty nester or do you still have kids living at home? Just curious since you seem to have a great deal of time to invest on Getbig, apparently considerably more than I do.
Interesting, out of the many moderators on Getbig only you noticed my post and felt the need to respond. Guilty conscious perhaps?

FYI, there is a massive difference between despising a person or people at one end of a spectrum and supporting folks at the other end. Some people forget this, which is one reason people are currently so polarized and angry. There is a whole array of folks whose beliefs and support fall somewhere between the ultra-conservative and ultra-liberal. Ideally, we will eventually find a middle ground.
Fortunately, Getbig is not an good example of how most people in the real world think and act today.

FEC: Trump-Stormy case ‘not a campaign finance violation’

A key member of the Federal Election Commission today rejected the Manhattan district attorney’s indictment of former President Donald Trump as a violation of federal election laws.
“It's not a campaign finance violation. It's not a reporting violation of any kind,” said FEC Commissioner James E. “Trey” Trainor.
In trying to stretch the law to make it look like a violation, he added, District Attorney Alvin Bragg “is really trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole.”
In a 34-count indictment of Trump, the first criminal case ever against a former president, Bragg charged that a $130,000 payment made by former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to porn star Stormy Daniels, which Cohen went to jail for in a plea deal, violated several campaign finance laws that splashed onto Trump.
But, said Trainor, the FEC and Justice Department already considered the case and tossed it.
With that as background, Trainor told Secrets today that it will be hard for a judge or jury to come up with a different conclusion since it’s the FEC and DOJ that prosecute federal campaign finance law. He reiterated that in a Tuesday tweet that showed the FEC hearing room, and he wrote, “This is where campaign finance violations are tried.”
Trainor, a Texas-based election lawyer appointed by Trump, listed several reasons why the FEC decided not to take up the payment to Daniels in 2018. He also released a statement, shown below, that he and Commissioner Sean Cooksey wrote in April 2021 explaining why the FEC voted to dismiss the case.
First, he said, Cohen took the blame in his plea deal. “At the end of the day, there's the person who committed the crime, and there's the person who is behind bars because of it,” Trainor said of Cohen.
Second, the paperwork violation in question came well after Trump’s 2016 election, so it couldn’t have been done to help his election.
Third, it is not obvious that the reason for the payment and the reimbursement to Cohen was to influence the election, thus failing the “objective standard” of law. “It has to be something that anybody on the street can look at and say the only reason you did that was to influence the campaign,” said Trainor. “There's a lot of reasons that he could have done it that aren't related to him being a candidate for president, and so therefore, it wouldn't have met the standard as campaign expenditure under federal law,” he added.
Also, the statute of limitations on the case was running out, and it wasn’t worth the time and expense to prosecute, he said.
“I don't know how you get around the evidence that both the Department of Justice in their investigation of the federal campaign finance issues and the Federal Election Commission in their ultimate jurisdiction over campaign finance issues, neither of them found there to be any violations whatsoever, and I think the jury is going to see that and they're going to have to rely upon the fact that both the law enforcement experts and the civil enforcement experts, as far as campaign finance are concerned, didn't find any violation of the law here,” said Trainor.

Paul Bedard is entitled to an opinion on this matter. However, Mr. Bedard is not a legal expert or necessarily understands the law. He has an opinion, nothing more. Much like you, me and others do. Opinions about the strength of Trump’s indictment are extremely varied.
Bedard is a longtime D.C. reporter who joined the Washington Examiner in 2012 after penning U.S. News & World Report's premiere political column, "Washington Whispers." As part of his "body of work," he has written dozens of pieces advancing the agenda of the National Rifle Association.
The Washington Examiner is a conservative news website and weekly magazine based in Washington, D.C. Founded in 2015 as a newspaper. It is owned by Clarity Media Group. Mr. Bedard opinions are aligned with his employer.

There is no law that says you can't. In fact, you can if you want. Especially if it is a strategic move.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/da-alvin-braggs-one-time-172834605.html
The Manhattan DA was sharply criticized for omitting key details that would justify upgrading the charges from misdemeanors to felonies.
Bragg's approach appears to be a deliberate strategy to choose among four different secondary crimes later on.
A 30-year veteran of the DA's office told Insider that Bragg will lay the specifics out in a so-called "bill of particulars" down the road.
Shortly after the Manhattan district attorney's office unsealed its 34-count felony indictment against former President Donald Trump, questions started pouring in.
To prove that Trump committed felony falsification of business records, as opposed to a misdemeanor, state prosecutors would need to show that he did so in order to commit or cover up a second crime.
And former prosecutors — some of them veterans of the Manhattan DA's office — wondered: why didn't DA Alvin Bragg include any information about a secondary crime in such a high-stakes case?
One 30-year veteran of the DA's office said Bragg's approach, however, is less an omission than a deliberate strategy. It's an approach that Diana Florence, who worked in the DA's office for three decades as a prosecutor focusing on white-collar crime, said was "100 percent the right way to charge this."
"When you have an indictment, anything you put in the indictment, you must prove it," Florence, who ran against Bragg for DA in 2021, told Insider in an interview. She added that so-called "speaking indictments" in cases like Trump's are very rare — they're generally more common in conspiracy and racketeering cases that require a long narrative of alleged criminal acts.
Indeed, when reporters asked Bragg about the underlying crimes at a news conference following Trump's arraignment, the DA said his office chose not to include those details because it wasn't required by law to do so.
"We are not going to go into our deliberative process on what was brought," the DA said. "The charges that were brought were the ones that were brought. The evidence and the law is the basis for those decisions."
Though Bragg didn't include the specifics of Trump's alleged underlying crimes in the charging documents, he laid them out in his post-arraignment news conference.
Trump's alleged scheme — coordinating a $130,000 hush-money payment to the adult film star Stormy Daniels — violated New York state law, "which makes it a crime to conspire to promote a candidacy by unlawful means," Bragg said.
Second, the alleged scheme violated federal election laws because the hush-money payment "exceeded the federal campaign contribution cap," Bragg said.
Third, the DA alleged that Trump also broke New York laws when he and his then-lawyer Michael Cohen worked with the publisher American Media Inc. on a "catch-and-kill" scheme, and AMI falsely characterized payments made as part of the scheme in its accounting books.
The fourth underlying crime alleged by Bragg related to false statements "that were planned to be made to tax authorities."
Bragg elaborated on that alleged underlying falsehood in a statement of facts included as an addendum to the indictment. Cohen had admitted to acting as a bag man for the hush-money payment, wiring his own personal funds to Daniels' lawyer less than two weeks before the 2016 election.
The tax falsehood allegedly arose the following year. That's when Allen Weisselberg, then the Trump Organization's chief bookkeeper, characterized Trump's repayment of the hush money as taxable income for Cohen, instead of as the reimbursement it actually was, Bragg's office alleged in the statement of facts.
Florence told Insider that "these underlying misdemeanors are elements of the crime of falsifying business records in the first degree" — which is what Trump was ultimately charged with — "but the law does not require you to name them."
"Though Bragg doesn't have to name them now, he will down the road," she said. "Now, you can't ride this train forever, right? There's a point where you have to pick a theory" and inform the defense that prosecutors allege that business records were falsified to conceal a specific, underlying tax or election crime, which Bragg said Tuesday that his office will do.
Those will be put on paper when the DA submits to the defense a so-called "bill of particulars," Florence said.
Trump's defense team, for its part, is expected to try to get the case dismissed.
"The indictment itself is boilerplate," Trump lawyer Todd Blanche told reporters after the ex-president's arraignment. "It's really disappointing. It's sad, and we'll fight it."
Legal experts recently told Insider that, based on their public statements and media reporting, Trump's attorneys will likely roll out three key defense strategies: hammering Bragg for not including any underlying crimes in the indictment itself; alleging that Bragg's office is bringing a selective and politically motivated case; and shredding Cohen's credibility as a witness given that he's an admitted felon.
"The prosecution is boxed in at this stage of the game," Ty Cobb, who served as White House special counsel during the Trump administration, told Insider. "They've got the indictment, they have to defend it. They're gonna be totally reactive and the strategic opportunities available to the defense are pretty extreme."
But experts said that, whatever the flaws in the charging document may be, Trump's team likely won't be successful in getting the case dismissed, which means the former president will be headed toward a blockbuster trial.
"I think there's enough there to get the indictment through motions to dismiss," Kevin O'Brien, a former federal prosecutor who specializes in white-collar criminal defense, said of the charges. "The case will go forward."

Yeah that's what Bragg said: he didn't identify the underlying crime because New York law didn't require it. That's BS and blatantly unconstitutional. And I've just shown why he didn't identify the underlying crime (because it's not a crime).
But as the last seven years have shown, you liberals don't care about due process, the Constitution, fundamental fairness, individual liberty, etc., so long as we are targeting your political enemies. This use of law enforcement and the criminal courts as a political weapon will not end well for the country.

He didn't have to. It is not required of him at this point. Kind of hard to be unconstitutional when it isn't required. Your opinion of it being BS does not make it unconstitutional anywhere else other than your own mind. If the judge feels the same way, he will toss it out.

So we should be "civil" ? Hardly...since that gorilla faced kvnt in Congress told people on the left to aggressively get in the face of those with whom they disagree and to give no peace, and "peaceful protesters" are never punished for their crimes...all bets are off.
Which is fine...our side, who will not allow bureaucrats to disarm us, against your side, most of whom don't know which bathroom to use.
Fuck off and die, soggy assed old queen.

This is an article that quotes and relies on FEC Commissioner James E. “Trey” Trainor. But you would know that if you climbed out of your bubble and actually read the article.
Note: James E. Trey Trainor was nominated to that position by none other than Donald Trump in 2017. Trump re-nominated him twice (in 2019 and 2020). He was eventually confirmed in 2020. Even though it was a Republican controlled Senate, they were not very anxious to appoint him until the FEC was short one commissioner when Matthew S. Petersen (R) resigned his position. Trainor's appointment expires at the end of this month. Trainor represented the Texas Republican Party and two presidential campaigns.
Is it not possible Trainor is a bit biased when it comes to Trump's problems? Maybe he hopes Trump will be able to appoint him to another Republican political position.
Since 'bubble' seems to be your go to word for this week, I thought you might get a kick out this witch’s song:
'Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.'

Bidenflation is Crippling the American People's Personal Finances
Thanks to President Biden's out-of-control spending and destructive economic policies, inflation has reached its highest level in 40 years, with the Consumer Price Index rising by 7.5 percent from January 2020 to January 2021.
Image removed.
Gas prices remain at a seven-year high – levels not seen since Joe Biden was Vice President.
Image removed.
The average national price for a gallon of gas is at its highest level since July 2014.
Image removed.
An increase in the cost of everyday goods and services disproportionately hurts lower-income families. Real average hourly earnings have decreased by 1.7 percent because of inflation.
Image removed.
On top of rising prices for everyday goods, costs for other essential services like health care are also rising. Seniors are seeing the largest ever Medicare Part B premium increase in 2022.
Image removed.
Moody's Analytics concluded that inflation is costing American families more than $250 per month.
Image removed.
According to a poll conducted by ABC News/Ipsos, 75 percent of Americans said Biden's economy was "not so good" or "poor," while only one percent view the economy as "excellent."
Image removed.
Democrats' inflationary policies are hurting – not helping – the American people.
Biden's Foreign Policy Blunders Embolden America's Adversaries
President Biden's weak leadership and lack of foreign policy strategy have crippled the United States' power and influence on the world stage. Afghanistan has fallen to the Taliban, China has ramped up its aggression against Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Uyghurs, and now, Russia has invaded Ukraine.
Image removed.
This invasion will have immediate consequences here in the United States. American families are already facing an increase in energy prices – from the gas pump to heating their homes.
As the Biden Administration chooses to react rather than lead, tough action is needed quickly to halt Putin's assault on Ukraine. Sanctions are not enough to stop this madman from further invading Ukraine and other Eastern European nations.
As a necessary first step, House Republican Whip Steve Scalise called on President Biden to immediately reverse his anti-American energy policies. This is crucial for America's economy and national security alike.
President Biden's poor foreign policy decisions have fueled the rise of the Taliban and Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
Image removed.
Last summer, the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan was forced to evacuate after the Taliban overtook Afghanistan's capital, Kabul.
Image removed.
Vladimir Putin — and the rest of the world — saw President Biden withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan without concrete plans to protect Americans and Afghan citizens or prevent the Taliban from taking over the country.
Image removed.
Ever since President Biden abandoned Americans in Afghanistan, Putin believes that he will do nothing to help the Ukrainian people against a Russian invasion.
President Biden's bad energy policies have emboldened Moscow to expand its energy foothold throughout Europe.
The Keystone XL pipeline would have created thousands of jobs, helped maintain the United States' global dominance, and transport oil from Canada, an ally and one of the world's cleanest oil producers, to U.S. refineries.
However, President Biden revoked an essential permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, which weakened the United States' energy security in the process.
Image removed.
President Biden chose weakness months ago when he canceled the Keystone XL pipeline but allowed the Nord Stream 2 pipeline between Germany and Russia days after Russian criminals hacked the Colonial Pipeline. Why would President Biden choose to eliminate American energy jobs and American pipelines but favor Russian jobs, Russian pipelines, and Russian dominance over our allies?
Image removed.
Putin's aggression toward Ukraine can be traced directly back to President Biden's far-left energy policies that have limited American energy production and made the United States more reliant on countries, like Russia, for oil.
Instead of weakening domestic energy development, President Biden should turn to America's energy-producing states that could significantly contribute to an all-of-the-above energy strategy that utilizes American energy resources and protects U.S. energy security.
But sadly, President Biden, and his incompetent foreign policy, have created yet another example of America conceding on the world stage.
With No Rule of Law, Illegal Immigration and Crime Surge
Since President Biden assumed control of the White House, more than 2.3 million illegal immigrants have been apprehended attempting to enter the United States. This number surpasses the population of Houston, Texas – the fourth-largest city in America.
Image removed.
In January 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection experienced its worst January in history – with 153,941 migrant encounters. One year earlier, in January 2021, there were 78,414 migrant encounters. This is a 96.3 percent increase.
Image removed.
To add insult to injury, a court filing revealed that more than 62,000 illegal immigrants were released into the United States in January.
In President Biden's first 100 days in office, he issued more than 94 executive actions on immigration, including halting the construction of President Trump's border wall and endingthe Trump Administration's successful "Remain in Mexico" policy.
Image removed.
Now, as a result of the Biden Administration reversing President Trump's successful border security and immigration policies, migrants carrying illicit substances are attempting to enter the United States at an alarming rate. In January 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection captured 839 pounds of deadly fentanyl at the southern border.
Image removed.
Sadly, fentanyl overdoses are now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration found a "direct link" between Mexican cartels and fentanyl-related overdose deaths.
Image removed.
Democrats' discontent for the rule of law enforcement extends well beyond their efforts to open America's borders and give mass amnesty to illegal immigrants. Violent crime and murders are increasing because Democrat-run cities slashed funding for their police departments and implemented anti-law enforcement policies that incentivize malicious behavior and let vicious criminals back into their communities.
Image removed.
The Fraternal Order of Police reports that in 2021, there were 346 officers shot in the line of duty, 63 of these officers died from their wounds. This is horrifying. There were also 103 ambush-style attacks on law enforcement officers, a 115 percent increase from 2020.
Image removed.
The statistics speak for themselves – Democrats' far-left rhetoric, policies, and actions have jeopardized the safety of our nation's law enforcement officers and vulnerable communities.
Supply Chain Crisis Sees No End in Sight
Pandemic lockdowns, vaccine mandates, labor shortages, and increased demand for consumer goods have created both a domestic and international supply chain crisis that directly impacts American families.
Image removed.
Materials and equipment are not being sent to factories as scheduled, shipments of finished products aren't reaching distributors, and congestion at ports and other transportation bottlenecks are making it nearly impossible for shipments to arrive in stores on your doorstep on time.
President Biden has failed to deliver on his promise to provide relief from supply chain bottlenecks – cargo ships are now simply waiting farther out at sea.
Image removed.
In a survey conducted by the National Federation of Independent Business, 64 percent of small businesses cite the supply chain crisis as a reason they have had to raise their prices.
Image removed.
Regular Americans are paying the price and experiencing the consequences of the Biden Administration's failing transportation policies.
Democrats Flip Flop on COVID Restrictions and Mask Mandates
President Biden, Speaker Pelosi, and Congressional Democrats have championed mask mandates in schools, even when there were no clear benefits for children.
Republicans have said from the beginning that mask mandates do more harm to children than good.
Children need to see facial expressions in order to understand emotions, process language, and learn word pronunciation.
Dr. Lucy McBride, a well-respected physician in Washington, D.C., believes that masks can negatively impact a child's ability to learn. In an interview, she said that children "need to see faces to develop emotionally and socially at those ages."
House Republican Whip Steve Scalise and Senate Republican Whip John Thune published an op-ed about the need to unmask America's schoolchildren and how Democrats' inconsistent masking guidelines are harming kids' social, emotional, and educational development.
Image removed.
Democrat policies, supported by the Biden Administration's guidance, are making it harder for women to return to or stay in the workforce. Mothers want to return to work or look for jobs, but onerous and unscientific COVID policies continue to disrupt in-person learning at schools and the reliability of daycare centers.
Now that the polling shows Democrats' handling of COVID is tanking, Democrat politicians and the Biden Administration are suddenly dropping their mask mandates and changing their metrics for mask-wearing.
Image removed.
The Biden Administration's vaccine and masking mandates and extended lockdowns have been devastating for America's children and the parents who care for them.

I am not going to accept what they say/write at face value. I do the same regardless of whether an article or a person is biased to the left or to the right. Are you suggesting a little research is not worthwhile? If so, this is pretty telling. It suggests you can easily be fooled.

Which part of Trainor's comments do you consider biased and inaccurate and why?
“It's not a campaign finance violation. It's not a reporting violation of any kind,” said FEC Commissioner James E. “Trey” Trainor.
This is his opinion. It is also an opposing opinion to those of several other folks who have knowledge of the law. An opinion is based on a person’s thoughts or beliefs. People often have different opinions about the same thing. Opinions cannot be proven true or false through research.
Bias is a tendency to hold a particular point of view. Is not James Trainor's above statement his point of view? Is it possible his point of view is influenced by his prior experiences with Trump? Trump supported him by nominating him for the FEC Commissioner position to which he was later appointed and now it appears he is supporting Trump. At least this is how I see it.
Discussions pertaining to Trump’s guilt or innocence are speculation and are premature. They are simply different folks’ opinions of which there are many and will undoubtedly be many more over the course of Trump’s trial.
Please note that I have not posted or said whether I think Trump is guilty or innocent of the crimes he was recently charged with.

Not sure why you asked this question because whether Bradley Smith is or isn't biased does not change my opinion about James E. Trey Trainor and what might influence his views. But thanks for asking it, because I enjoyed reading Bradley Smiths 2018 article about campaign finance violation as he believed it applied to Trump's situation in 2018.
Maybe Bradley Smith is biased or maybe he is not. He is a self-described conservative Republican... so there is that.
He certainly has a lot of interesting and seemingly intelligent and knowledgeable views on election law, campaign finance violations and Donald Trump's situation with the hush money payment to Stormy Daniels. He's consistent because he has been saying the same exact things about this subject for a very long time now. So today I assume what he has to say about campaign finance law is well rehearsed.
Donald Trump’s Hush Money Did Not Violate Campaign-Finance Law

“Should he have used campaign funds to pay the settlements, and reported them to the FEC as “legal expenses,” risking prosecution for illegal personal use of campaign funds? Or should he have paid them privately, as he did, risking prosecution for failing to comply with campaign-finance laws?
And if you don’t have tax fraud and other felonies you can use to squeeze a plea bargain out of your targets — as the federal prosecutors had in the Cohen case — how do you prove intent other than by rummaging through personal notes, memos, files, emails, and texts?”

Top Election-law Conservative Brad A. Smith on Campaign Spending Limits

Bradley is a conservative Republican who I think sticks to his guns:
“…when I was nominated for the FEC in 1999, I pulled up my files from Kalamazoo College when I took my senior comprehensive exams in political science. I had forgotten this, but I wrote about campaign finance then, and the views I expressed there, while much less sophisticated, are basically the views I held 20 years later.”

So they not only have to be a Democrat appointee, but a liberal/progressive for you to actually consider their points?
You have still failed to address the actual facts asserted by Trainor and now Brad Smith, including:
1. The expenditure cannot be something that a person would make if they were not running for office.
2. NDA's that suppress potentially embarrassing information happen all the time, outside of political campaigns, so Trump's NDA and payment does not qualify.
3. The FEC declined to prosecute Trump.
4. The DOJ declined to prosecute Trump.
5. Bragg's predecessor declined to prosecute Trump.
6. Bragg doesn't even identify the underlying crime in the indictment, likely because he knows it wasn't a campaign finance law violation.

1 & 2. So, NDAs happen all the time, so what? Nobody knows whether Trump would have or would not have paid Stormy hush money had he not been running for office. Next questions: why set up a 'shell company' to buy Daniels off and why did Trump or a designee hide this expense by recording it as "legal expenses"?
3. Yes, the FEC said it would not pursue a complaint that Donald Trump violated campaign finance rules. Who knows what evidence they had or didn't have and who was involved in this decision?
4. Try this for the answer; The DOJ did not chose to prosecute Trump: The Southern District prosecutors accused Mr. Cohen of violating federal campaign finance laws, arguing that the payments to ensure the silence of Ms. Daniels, which were later reimbursed by Mr. Trump, amounted to an illegal donation to the Trump campaign.
But the Southern District declined, at the time, to file charges against Mr. Trump.
The federal prosecutors, and later Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, determined that prosecuting him would have violated a Nixon-era directive from the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel that was interpreted as preventing the indictment of a sitting president.
I have a question for you. Explain why Cohen violated federal campaign finance laws and Trump did not when the two were in cahoots and had equal involvement in the cover up?
5. A better question is; why did Mr. Bragg initially stall on this action and if there was a reason, what was it? Mr. Pomerantz and Mr. Dunne tried to persuade Mr. Bragg that the case, which had been developed under Mr. Bragg’s predecessor, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., was solid. Mr. Bragg and his aides remained unconvinced, and soon after the district attorney decided to halt the grand jury presentation, Mr. Pomerantz and Mr. Dunne resigned.
Cyrus R. Vance wimped out. “I really can’t talk about the Trump case, so I’m not going to talk about the Trump case,” Vance said in a recent interview with The Associated Press. “But I think it’s pretty clear that our investigation is active and ongoing.”
6. I have no idea what Bragg's reasoning is for not totally revealing all his cards, which is what he is doing. One might assume he has a trump card up his sleeve that he's saving for the right moment in Trump's trial.
BTW, I did consider both Trainer and Smith's points, especially Smith's. I thought I was very clear about this. If Smith were a not a self-avowed conservative and a Republican, I might put more stock in his opinions.
-Hope you realize our conversation is an exercise in futility. Nothing you or I say, or think is going to change the eventual outcome. Neither of our opinions carries any weight. But then who knows, maybe you are some high-level official that has the power to change the future of Trump's predicament.

Now this wacko bimbo is siding with a proven traitor to this country because he is "white, male, christian, and antiwar." She just can't stop being an idiot for even a moment.
Let's see who else can defend this sack of shit's actions.

Is that what yours does? Or is the fantasy you make up to convince yourself that you may have a chance with me?
Or do you just whine like this all day. <--- I bet that's it.

You're missing the point. It doesn't matter whether Trump would or would not have gotten the NDA if he wasn't running for office. The test is whether the average person would ever get an NDA to suppress potentially embarrassing information. If the answer is "yes," there is no violation. And anyone with common sense and life experience knows that NDAs are entered into all the time outside of political campaigns.
As an aside, how big of a pimp is Donald Trump when he bangs a porn star/prostitute and she pays him? :D
And just so we're clear, I'm not trying to convince you of anything. The fact you don't consider opinions from conservatives tells me all I need to know. Your confirmation bias game is strong.

Your confirmation game bias is strong. You constantly assume a lot about me based solely on my being 'a liberal' when in fact you don't know me, aside from what I post on Getbig.
You are wrong, I do consider both conservative and liberal folk's opinions. I consider the possibility their opinions may be biased. There are times when I completely agree with an opinion and times when I partially agree and times when do not agree at all. Most intelligent people qualify what other people say or write and don't take this at face value without knowing something about the person. To do otherwise makes one extremely gullible.
We all have some bias based on personal life experiences which influence how we process what others do and speak. Everyone is the "sum of their parts," so to speak. No one really lives in a 'bubble' as you like to say, including those folks who come off as being totally set in their ways and unchangeable.
It never occurred to me that Trump could be a pimp... I will add this to the long list of his personality traits that influence and confirm my dislike of the man.

I didn't mean he is an actual pimp. It's slang. And it's also not funny when you have to explain it. ::)

MTG showcasing her dazzling stupidity once again by taking stupidity to a new low :
“We have food critics that criticize restaurants, consumer reports that criticizes products, auto critics that criticize automobiles, and conservative Americans have just wrapped up a week of nuking a beer company, but you can’t criticize a voting machine company or you’ll get sued for millions and millions of dollars.”
Fox didn't get their asses kicked for criticism. They got shit kicked because of LIES. Criticism and lying are not the same thing. One costs $787.5 Million. :D If you can't tell the difference, then keep lying and you will find out.
-
Sorry to have spoiled you joke. I still don't like Trump though.
You don’t have to like him, but you can at least find humor. Don’t take things so seriously.

What can I say? Getbig made me do it! (take nonsense too seriously)
My experience suggests this about my thinking, if I do not like the comedian, I will not find them humorous. Also, I might say if I don't like their humor, I will not like the comedian. IMO, humor is more subjective than objective.
-

As you know, I don't like him but his trash talk game is often hilarious. The nicknames are so fucking stupid and juvenile that it strikes a cord with me. "Low Energy Jeb". LMAO. What a pussy Jeb Bush is to not be able to combat that. I really do hope there is at least a field of 15 for the GOP debates. He (the Donald) is going to lay waste to his challengers. That's why Former Lardass Mike Pompeo bailed. He doesn't want that smoke. It's why I also think DeSanctimonious will not get in this time and I believe it's the politically savvy move for him to make.

HAHA this retard goes into meltdown mode over the Dems not having primary debates in 2024.
You know... like the GOP did in 2020. :D
Either she is a bigger moron than we give her credit for, or her followers are. ;D

QAnon conspiracy theorist, Democratic political leadership execution proponent who is a classic example of someone with a histrionic personality disorder (HPD), MTG is a supreme moron.
Her followers are morons simply because they helped this nut job twice get elected to a seat ‘on the floor’ (literally) of the House.
During her first term she was kicked off her committee assignments with votes from both her fellow Republicans and the Democrats for being a loudmouth in the worse way. This term she's proved herself to be a supreme McCarthy and Trump suck-up who cannot stay out of the news. Trump thinks she is 'low-class' and for once, he is right about something.
-
Idiots in GA got her elected and was about to elect a fake cop who wanted to be a werewolf as well.

Stupid and gullible folks are scary because they are likely to cause trouble for everyone because of their choices. I hope that the MTG and her ilk will be revealed for the destructive idiots they are and end up being a flash in the pan who we can all soon forget about.
I must admit, lately I have been drawn to MTG’s comments because they are so outrageous that it makes her entertaining in some perverse way. To some extent, the same is true with Trump. Honestly, I wish I had more ability to ignore these people because they do nothing which has a positive effect on my life, other than give me something to write about on Getbig. LOL!
-
I used to think her stupidity was just an act. But nope, it is genuine.
