Hah never seen that.  Shemp was OK in his own solo comedies but fantastic as a third Stooge.  Better than Curly.

Shemp was a legend of a Stooge (and actor on his own).
An original before leaving to do his own thing, then Jerome (Curly) replaced him.
Shemp returned when Curly had his stroke and got sick and passed away.

Resident hottie (Christine Mcintire) was trying to not hurt Shemp with the slaps, after a few takes Shemp begged her to just lay into  him...
