Title: Anddddddddddd furthermore......!!
Post by: LurkerNoMore on August 04, 2023, 10:41:05 AM
It says a lot when the judge has to tell you not to commit any "new" crimes.  Wonder how long it will be before he does exactly what he was told not to do?  Committing crimes is his whole gimmick at this point.

“I have never heard that”: Experts stunned after judge “admonished” Trump not to commit any crimes
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=%E2%80%9CI+have+never+heard+that%E2%80%9D%3A+Experts+stunned+after+judge+%E2%80%9Cadmonished%E2%80%9D+Trump+not+to+commit+any+crimes

The magistrate judge presiding over former President Donald Trump's federal indictment in D.C. on Thursday warned him not to commit any crimes while he is awaiting trial.

Trump appeared before Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya, where he pleaded not guilty to four charges accusing him of conspiring to overturn his 2020 election loss ahead of the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Upadhyaya told the former president that "the most important condition of release is not committing any new crimes while on release, which could lead to him being detained and could add to the sentence he may eventually face," according to NPR. "She told Trump that it is a crime to 'influence a juror or try to threaten or bribe a witness or retaliate against anyone' connected to the case. Trump said he understands."

Trump has repeatedly attacked prosecutors and judges in his growing number of legal cases.

"Trump admonished not to commit any crimes as a term of his release. This guy obstructs justice like most of us breathe. And, as the judge observed, it's also a crime to influence a juror. Same's true re: a witness. Could be a wild ride," predicted columnist and author David Rothkopf.

Former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann, who served on special counsel Bob Mueller's team, told MSNBC that the order was "unusual."

"The standard condition that a judge usually emphasizes to a defendant is that they have to show up at each court appearance. That is the most important thing. That is what bail is for — so that you'll show up in court," he said. "But I heard that the standard condition and most important thing today is 'do not commit a crime'' followed up by 'do not tamper with a juror.' My first reaction was, I was a prosecutor for 21 years and I was a defense lawyer for five years, and I've never heard that."

The judge that is going to put her foot up Trumpy's ass.  Obviously, she isn't very impressed with him so far.   ;D

"THAT I WAS THEN ARRESTED BY MY POLITICAL OPPONENT"...  hahahaha  this is so funny.  I was unaware that Biden was in the building or that he had that kind of power.

Trump reportedly ‘irked’ that arraignment judge called him ‘Mr Trump
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Trump+reportedly+%E2%80%98irked%E2%80%99+that+arraignment+judge+called+him+%E2%80%98Mr+Trump

Donald Trump is said to have been left in a foul mood after his arraignment in Washington DC on Thursday – but not for the reason that many would think.

The former president was “irked” that US District Judge Moxila Upadhyaya referred to him as “Mr Trump” and not “Mr President” as he was formally hit with four charges over his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, according to CNN.

A source told the network on Thursday that the former president subsequently left the court appearance “sour and dejected” as a result.

“I’m learning tonight that Trump left here in a sour and dejected mood,” said CNN host Kaitlan Collins.

“He was, quote, ‘pissed off,’ according to someone who spoke to him.”

She added: “I am told that the former president, one thing that irked him particularly, was during that hearing today that lasted about 27 minutes, was when the magistrate judge referred to him as simply ‘Mr Trump.’”

Mr Trump’s alleged annoyance comes as the staff at his Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster estates typically still refer to him as “President Trump” – despite leaving the White House over two years ago.

“That may not sound odd to anyone else, but he is still referred to by his former title ‘President Trump’ when he’s at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey, as he is tonight, or at Mar-a-Lago,” revealed Ms Collins.

Despite the reports of Mr Trump’s mood behind the scenes, the former president appeared to be determined to put on a brave front following the arraignment.

Taking to Truth Social on Thursday night, he claimed – in a full-caps rant – that he had a “very good day”.

“CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT I HAD TO FLY TO A FILTHY, DIRTY, FALLING APART, & VERY UNSAFE WASHINGTON, D.C., TODAY, & THAT I WAS THEN ARRESTED BY MY POLITICAL OPPONENT, WHO IS LOSING BADLY TO ME IN THE POLLS, CROOKED JOE BIDEN, IT WAS A VERY GOOD DAY!” he wrote on Truth Social.

This is true, except it was not Hunter Biden's law firm. She was a partner. Hunter worked as counsel, which is neither an associate nor partner, counsel more like a sub-contractor. If anything, Hunter worked for her.

Chutkan worked at BSF from 2002 until the time of her appointment to the D.C. Circuit by then U.S. President Barack Obama in June 2014. She was made a partner of the firm in 2007. Biden, meanwhile, held the title of counsel at BSF from 2010 to 2014.

I’m not sure about that. The people that hate him are still going to hate him, especially with how combative he is on social media. The republicans only hope is that Biden just doesn’t get democrats energized to vote in 2024.

It will come down the the independents again. Do they want 4 more years of better policy but utter chaos?

I feel last election many were burnt out, and had the Covid hangover.

However, as usual, it will likely come down to the economy, and how it's affecting the average person - not the 1%+

Personally, I'd like to see both Biden and Trump retire, and have younger candidates as an option.

I can't tell what is worse.  Blatantly lying like he does or having Cooper end of the orange scuff marks on his UGG boots after using Trumpy's head for a soccer ball.

The route that he took from National Airport to the Court House is impressive to behold and cuts through the National Mall, with majestic views of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, the Capitol, and the White House.  It is truly a beautiful ride.  There is literally no chance he saw "filth" or "broken down buildings" on such a short ride.  Could he possibly just be lying again?   ::)    The whole ride from the airport to the Courthouse was captured via a dash cam and was broadcast on all of the networks that were covering the event yesterday.  As everyone plainly saw, there was no filth and decay (except for Trumpy), only trees in full bloom and green grass.

Anderson Cooper Serves Trump An Ice Cold Reality Check Over 'Filthy' D.C. Claims
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Anderson+Cooper+Serves+Trump+An+Ice+Cold+Reality+Check+Over+%27Filthy%27+D.C.+Claims

CNN’s Anderson Cooper checked former President Donald Trump after he dished out claims that Washington, D.C., was “not the place” that he left at the end of his presidency.

The former president spoke to reporters at Reagan National Airport on Thursday after pleading not guilty to four charges linked to the attempted coup on Jan. 6, 2021.

“This is a very sad day for America, and it was also very sad driving through Washington, D.C., and seeing the filth and the decay and all of the broken buildings and walls and the graffiti. This is not the place that I left. It’s a very sad thing to see it,” Trump said.

Trump also took to his Truth Social platform and wrote that the city was “FILTHY, DIRTY, FALLING APART, & VERY UNSAFE.”

Cooper chimed in, reminding viewers of D.C.’s condition as Trump left office.

“We should point out that when the former president left office and left Washington, D.C., the city was on lockdown because of the attack on Jan. 6,” Cooper said.

“That is the city he left behind.”

At his most recent arraignment, Donald Trump was clearly warned not to threaten or try to retaliate against anyone connected in any way to the case. This being a story about Donald Trump, you probably know where things are going: He went and did it anyway.

“If You Go After Me, I’m Coming After You,” the disgraced ex-president said in a post on his Twitter clone, Truth Social.

Critics See A Brutal Self-Own From Donald Trump As He Explains Debate Avoidance

Donald Trump on Friday practically begged for mockery while explaining at an Alabama fundraiser why he won’t debate Republicans running against him for the presidency. (Watch the video below.)

The thrice-indicted ex-president cited his huge lead in the polls, saying: “I love to debate, but you know sometimes you don’t want to be a fool. You want a smart president. You don’t want a stupid president.”

On social media, we get :

“And there we go, admitting his inadequacies,” one wrote.

“Who is going to tell him?” another commented.

Trump has repeatedly called himself a “stable genius” and boasted of a high IQ test score that he will not disclose. He also once asked about injecting oneself with disinfectant to treat COVID-19.

Jokesters on the platform formerly known as Twitter couldn’t help but chime in on what they saw as a not-so-smart self-own in Alabama.

Weighing in on Donald Trump's arraignment on Thursday for charges related to his views regarding the validity of the 2020 election, Nancy Pelosi hit the former president where it hurts, his ego.

In an appearance on MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports" on Friday, she makes comments to the effect that he perhaps left his signature bravado back at Bedminster that day, because there was none to be found in or near the courtroom. "I wasn't in the courtroom of course but when I saw his coming out of his car and this or that, I saw a scared puppy," Pelosi told MSNBC. "He looked very, very, very concerned about the fate. I didn't see any bravado or confidence or anything like that. He knows the truth that he lost the election and now he's got to face the music."

Trump pleaded not guilty for the second time this week on Friday, this time for additional charges against him in the Mar-a-Lago documents case. And although the conditions of his release indicate that he's not to rile up any trouble, lest he create more of it for himself, he's already on Truth Social making what appear to be threatening statements. "IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU!" he wrote to the platform on Friday afternoon, ominously.

Trump avoids Jack Smith's eye in Washington courtroom
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Trump+avoids+Jack+Smith%27s+eye+in+Washington+courtroom

Donald Trump stood with his arms by his sides Thursday as he faced a federal judge in Washington to somberly plead "not guilty" to a variety of charges over attempts to subvert the 2020 US elections.

It was a short and solemn moment that contrasted with the noise and hubbub that surrounded his arrival in the federal court surrounded by high security.

Beyond the clear paneling of the courtroom rose the US Capitol, the temple of American democracy that was attacked by his supporters on a tumultuous day in January 2021. The former president was in court for his role in the events leading up to that historic moment.

Trump appeared shortly before 4:00 pm sporting his trademark red tie and surrounded by his lawyers. Also in the room was Jack Smith, his legal nemesis. The special prosecutor, with his neatly trimmed beard, is in charge of the federal investigations targeting the Republican billionaire.

Five meters (yards) and a wooden table separated the two men. During the long minutes when both sides waited for the judge to arrive, Smith stared intently at Trump. The former president, who is frontrunner for the Republican 2024 nomination, seemed to avoid Smith's gaze, instead talking with his attorneys and moving his hands as if to pass time.

- 'We need a little time' -

Then Judge Moxila Upadhyaya took her seat, an American flag hanging behind her chair. In her long black robe, she presided over Trump's first appearance before a magistrate in the case over his alleged bid to overturn the 2020 election.

As the judge recited each count against Trump, he sat motionless with his head turned toward her, seemingly attentive.

When he got up, she asked him how he intended to plead to the charges leveled against him.

"Not guilty" he replied, then sat down again.

Former President Donald Trump name-dropped his “weak” and “incompetent” hires as Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo pressed him to explain why he put them in his administration.

Trump, who pledged during his 2016 campaign to surround himself with “the best people,” called ex-Attorney General William Barr “weak and pathetic” and former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper “incompetent.” Bartiromo asked him to explain.

“You know, most people were good but I had some people ... I thought we had other people I didn’t like,” said Trump.

“Why did you put them in the job then?” asked Bartiromo of Barr, Esper and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
“You didn’t drain the swamp like you said you would,” she said, “You didn’t drain the swamp.”

Federal judge muzzles former President Donald Trump, issues protective order on Jan. 6 trial documents

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Federal+judge+muzzles+former+President+Donald+Trump%2C+issues+protective+order+on+Jan.+6+trial+documents

A Washington federal court judge blocked ex-President Donald Trump from going public with potential trial evidence shared with his lawyers in an upcoming election fraud case after prosecutors cited his history of social media tirades.

The ruling from District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan followed a Friday four-page filing from Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith asking for a strict order to muzzle Trump from sharing information culled from discovery documents or evidence.

“If the defendant were to begin issuing public posts using details — or, for example, grand jury transcripts — obtained in discovery here, it could have a harmful chilling effect on witnesses or adversely affect the fair administration of justice in this case,” wrote Smith.

On Friday, Trump made this menacing all-caps posting on Truth Social: “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!”

Earlier in the week, he mentioned the prosecutor by name in another posting: “I hear that deranged Jack Smith, in order to interfere with the presidential election of 2024, will be putting out yet another fake indictment of your favorite president.”

The court papers also cited previous Trump social media outbursts “regarding witnesses, judges, attorneys, and others associated with legal matters pending against him.”

The defendant pleaded innocent Thursday in the alleged sweeping plot to overturn the 2020 election results and block the peaceful White House transition of President Joe Biden in 2021. Unlike a full gag order, this would only limit what Trump and his legal team could share publicly about the prosecution.

The best part of all of this is that all the people testifying against Trump are Republicans. Republicans he appointed, Republicans who worked for him, and Republican officials from various states. The other evidence is from Trump’s Republican lawyers, Trump’s own Vice-President and Trump’s own big mouth. Think about it... the man Trump picked as his VP is testifying against him.

And the retarded Trumpturds are calling it a politcal prosecution?  Hahahhaa.  Yeah by Republicans.

First Amendment - Freedom of Speech? We'll see.

The Don's latest Truth Social contribution:

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

WOW. It’s finally happened! Liddle’ Mike Pence, a man who was about to be ousted as Governor of Indiana until I came along and made him V.P. has gone to the Dark Side. I never told a new emboldened (not based on his 2% poll numbers!)Pence to put me above the Constitution, or that Mike was “too honest.” He’s delusional, and now he wants to show he is a tough guy. I once read a major magazine article on Mike. It said he was not a very good person. I was surprised, but the article was right. Sad!

Hey Don, Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are. Oops, no can do because you have no friends.  :'(

Some folks say Don is witness tampering/intimidating witnesses. What do you think? Isn't this a crime? Yup, it is.

Intimidation of a witness, victim, or informant is a form of obstruction of justice, and it's a federal crime defined under 18 U.S.C. 1512.
Never liked Pence, something just odd about that guy. After his remarks recently about Ukraine, I'd place him below Feinstein, Pelosi and Newsom.

Oh I know S. E.. there is a 50/50 chance you knew, or just googled it and found out it was another judge... but your M.O. is throwing things out hoping they will stick. Like your fake Ashley meme. I just wanted to make sure  some of the others that just take anything you say as truth, knew you were full of it again. No harm.

Never liked Pence either. I worked for a sociopath. It was draining. I had 15 others at my level that were afraid of him because he would go scorched earth in meetings if you dared to question some of his questionable plans and decisions. But I did... one of the few, because I felt it was my job to point out land mines, and unintended consequences.

Pence never said a word for 4 years.. watched his boss do stupid things that came back to bite him. Likely Trump wouldn't listen but it's your job to try. Others finally did.. and of course Trump attacked them like a rabid pit bull but that's what people with character do.

Only thing I will say for Pence positive is, he does seem honest for the most part, and when it came down to Jan 6th, he followed the rules in spite of Trumps bullying. But President? Nah

That is exactly no one.  The same number of people that come to bail him out when his bullshit backfires, his thread blows up in his face, and he is unable to provide any evidence or proof of what he posted.

Nobody believes a word he says.

Hahahahaa.   The loser is in full meltdown mode.

"No corner of the universe is unaware of Trump's foulness, dishonesty and crimes.  The notion of change of venue is, therefore, null.  Change of venue is intended as relief for defendants whose notoriety is substantial in one venue and not another.  This is another frivolous motion by Loser 45 that will be smacked down."

Trump Wants ‘Nightmare’ Judge Chutkan Off His Jan. 6 Case
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Trump+Wants+%E2%80%98Nightmare%E2%80%99+Judge+Chutkan+Off+His+Jan.+6+Case

Donald Trump’s unhinged Sunday morning Truth Social rant played all the former president’s greatest hits. He started the day by calling Nancy Pelosi a “sick & demented psycho,” then turned his sights on “DERANGED” special counsel Jack Smith and reiterated his call for a federal takeover of “filthy and crime ridden” Washington, D.C.

He also voiced his desire to have Judge Tanya Chutkan, who was assigned to oversee Trump’s Capitol riot criminal trial in Washington, D.C., thrown off the case.

“There is no way I can get a fair trial with the judge ‘assigned’ to the ridiculous freedom of speech/fair elections case,” Trump wrote (in all caps, of course). “Everybody knows this, and so does she! We will be immediately asking for a recusal of this judge on very powerful grounds, and likewise for venue change, out if [sic] D.C.”

Chutkan has been called Trump’s “worst nightmare” by ex-prosecutor Dave Henderson, and the former president’s legal team is already feeling the heat. On Saturday, she denied a request from the Trump camp to extend a deadline for a protective order that could limit what they could publicly share about the case.

“I think the odds of [Trump] actually serving time are still next to zero,” Henderson told MSNBC on Sunday. “But Judge Chutkan is the type of judge who would sentence him to serve time because she’s going to be equitable in terms of how she treats everyone in her courtroom, and she’s already showing that with these current rulings.”

Chutkan also has a history of doling out steep sentences to Jan. 6 defendants, going above the prosecution’s recommendation nine times in her 31 Capitol riot cases.

Beyond the judge, Trump has also repeatedly voiced his displeasure with the venue. Last week, he called for the trial to be moved from D.C. to “politically unbiased” West Virginia—a state that he happened to win by 39 points in the 2020 presidential election.

Trump echoed that call on Sunday, posting on Truth Social that there’s “no way” he could get “even close to a fair trial” in D.C.

“There are many reasons for this,” he wrote—again, in all caps. “But just one is that I am calling for a federal takeover of this filthy and crime ridden embarrassment to our nation.”

Trump freaks out over Pelosi's "sad puppy" comment, says she will one day "live in hell"

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Trump+freaks+out+over+Pelosi%27s+%22sad+puppy%22+comment%2C+says+she+will+one+day+%22live+in+hell%22

In response to comments made by Nancy Pelosi during an appearance on MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports" on Friday, in which she compared Trump's lack of bravado during his arraignment on Thursday to that of a "sad puppy," the former president is lashing out in signature style.

In a rant posted to Truth Social on Sunday, Trump said, "I purposely didn't comment on Nancy Pelosi's very weird story concerning her husband, but now I can because she said something about me, with glee, that was really quite vicious. 'I saw a scared puppy,' she said, as she watched me on television, like millions of others, that didn't see that. I wasn't 'scared.' Nevertheless, how mean a thing to say! She is a Wicked Witch whose husbands journey from hell starts and finishes with her. She is a sick & demented psycho who will someday live in HELL!"

After sentencing Pelosi to hell, he then pivoted to an all-caps freakout about not being able to get a fair trial for his many criminal charges writing, "NO WAY I CAN GET A FAIR TRIAL, OR EVEN CLOSE TO A FAIR TRIAL, IN WASHINGTON, D.C. THERE ARE MANY REASONS FOR THIS, BUT JUST ONE IS THAT I AM CALLING FOR A FEDERAL TAKEOVER OF THIS FILTHY AND CRIME RIDDEN EMBARRASSMENT TO OUR NATION,  WHERE MURDERS HAVE JUST SHATTERED THE ALL TIME RECORD, OTHER VIOLENT CRIMES HAVE NEVER NEEN WORSE, AND TOURISTS HAVE FLED. THE FEDERAL TAKEOVER IS VERY UNPOPULAR WITH POTENTIAL AREA JURORS, BUT NECESSARY FOR SAFETY, GREATNESS, & FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE!"

Pence… Pence who? LOL! What's to like or dislike about Mikey Pence? He blows whichever way the wind blows. The one positive thing anyone can say about Pence is that he works hard at never saying or doing anything offensive or controversial, which is why he basically says nothing worth remembering.

Trump is on lunch break from Truth Social after his morning ALL CAPS meltdowns. Is he working on an insanity plea? This might just work for him. It is hard to argue that the man is even remotely sane.

Awwww.... another TDfS post from you Fetter.   Why does this come as no surprise?

Of course he can't.  Have you EVER seen him post anything of substance?  Or anything related to the actual thread topic or discussion either?  When was the last time he offered anything relative to the conversation at hand?  Either a supporting argument or a rebuttal?  Has he ever posted anything - link, comment, evidence, proof, of what other people are actually talking about?  No it is nothing but TDfS off topic replies of nothingness.  He's like a disembodied voice of the internet that simply has to say something but always just says nothing.

His posts are the equivalent of TV static.

Have you read your quote? Like really sat back and read it? It's what I've been saying to you this whole time. I'm here to mock you for your TDS, that's it. Your obsession, your every day worry, your constant seeking of anything related to Trump. It should all be mocked and ridiculed endlessly. Because you have nothing else to contribute.  Nothing original.  Nothing of substance.  And the most hilarious part is that you are stupid enough to think your comments bother anyone.   ::)   Watching you get triggered and rush to the orange defense over simple facts and evidence being posted is all it takes to underscore just how empty your posts truly are.
