Nathan DeAsha out of the Olympia - as he is not allowed into the US and was denied a VISA. Will the Mr. Olympia teaem get him that letter to convince the US that he is coming for the purpose of competing? Hopefully, they can help.

Olympia update. Guys i thought this was the year i could come back to the big stage, had what i believed to be all the correct paperwork in order to be denied by a bitter salty lady is heart breaking. On the way here i was excited like a child now am sat in a hotel waiting to go home with the worst thoughts in my head possible. " me nathan be depressed " i didnt think i would ever see that coming. Before some say your there run off dont go back the airport believe me ive thought about it but dont want this to be my last olympia and want to do it right. Although fuk me am on the edge BELIEVE.
The @mrolympiallc is the pinical of any bodybuilders career. We all want to be there but sadly so many of us cant be. We cant control where we are born even as a kid getting up to no good think this far ahead but yet we are punished. Its wrong in so many ways. On that stage you will be shocked the amount of athletes who have to get there using extreme meaures n illegally. This shouldnt be the case. We need help. Mr olympia needs to help us. Change venues or do 2 a yr give us all a chance. Everyone is allowed in the Eu, Canada, Dubai even.
For those who have malicious intent just dm me dont leave it on here not only am i upset an broken but so many others are also, theres a time and a place respect that please. For everyone supporting me wishing me well am so so sorry ive let you down my heart is broken i am broken. But i will get up and fight again. Ive been kicked down so many times i always get back up stronger i will keep fighting. Those who know me know what am feeling n the pain am in but thank use all so much we got closer than last time.

Just searching online I found an article that states: "NATHAN DEASHA ARRESTED IN U.K. ON CRIMINAL DRUG CHARGES"

Granted, this likely happened a number of years back, but still relevant.
Some key points from the article:
- Arrested and charged with possession and intent to distribute illicit drugs in England
- Charged with alleged possession of MDMA, cocaine, and anabolic steroids with intent to supply
- Charged with possessing criminal property (cash) and concealing or disguising criminal property
As if the above wasn't enough, that same article mentions the following:

When riots broke out in Liverpool in August, 2011, it was reported that police and media labelled the rioters as “black kids with single mothers,” which DeAsha strongly objected to. Then 25, DeAsha apparently took to Facebook and made the ill-advised decision to tell his scant 855 followers to loot the shopping mall Liverpool One while police tried to contain the worst street violence seen in nearly a generation, according to the UK website LiverpoolEcho.co.uk. He reportedly made comments encouraging people to “terrorise police” and “hit town an get something out of it.” Police were provided a print out of DeAsha’s statements, then arrested and charged him.
He supposedly got handed an 18-month sentence by the judge.
My prophesy: He won't be coming into the US.
That said, he can always travel to Mexico and enter the US through that border. Seems like everyone gets in through there.

Yeah, he's not getting in. Even really famous people in more widely known endeavors (comedy, music, etc....) get turned away for relatively podunk drug convictions, not to mention the "incitement of a riot" charge there. He'll be old and gray before we'll see him in the US again.

I'm not sure if inciting riots are the same in the USA. England is bad for punishing speech. Someone told a female cop in the UK "she looks like my lesbian grandma", and the person who said it was arrested. ::)
Did De Asha get CONVICTED for the drugs, I wonder? Seems he was thoroughly investigated, but it's not clear to me if he was convicted from your post.
The inciting speech may be protected in the USA under the First Amendment. But was he convicted of anything illegal in the USA [the drugs]?

He's got a Liverpool accent because erm he's from Liverpool. As for a mouth like a bag of marbles.... I seem to recall someone having a dentistry issue- glass houses and that mate!
He's a genuinely cracking fella and i am proud to call him a mate of mine. He does so much for the local community too but that never gets reported. He kept his gym open for us during COVID and got about 40 10k fines. He appealed against all of them and did not have to pay a penny. He did this to enable us alll to train. When the police raided his gym he helpe dmany get away and took what they were giving on the chin- namely 8 of them with batons and dogs unloading tasers and 2 cans of peppper spray onto him.
Every year his gym donates a truck of toys to needy kids. He's kind approachable and will always make himself available to gym members if they need advice or help. He now has a restaurant at his gym and when opening we had all trained ans dhe just brought out tray after tray of food for us to sample. He may have a past- don't we all but if anyone believes that he is any threat to american security they are fucking idiots.
For this reason the Olympia should leave the USA. Or just be like the 'world series' of baseball where its only the US involved.
But knowing Nathan he wil see the setback as an opportunity and come through it.
As for th e'drug charges' he got a 12 month suspended sentence for giving the owner of a gym he did a seminar at some test. the MDMA and cOCAINE belonged to teh gym owner who got 5 years. Again don't believe half o f what you read. His 'incitement' message was on his own faceboook page when he was a lot younger. Now if we all got arrested for posts on the interent you'd be reading a n empty board.

And its understandable ...... the poor Nathan is not Allowed back in the states for dealing (one way or another with illegal/controlled drugs)
when every single "athlete " currently attending the Olympia is filled with illegal/controlled drugs "..... The IFBB is as dirty as any of its athletes according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
There's a reason the Olympia was last held outside of the USA 31 years ago .

For what it's worth, I've got a mate that did 5 years (half inside) for selling steroids, which in the UK is a long time for a class c drug, and he got in to America a year or two ago. His conviction was around 2005, though. Not sure what he wrote on the forms or whether he was just lucky. Clearly they do make exceptions.

Fair enough I don't know him/ never met him (still can't understand him on podcasts and interviews) I'm glad he's a good guy (not a fan of his physique with that abnormally long torso) but got nothing against him
