Bowls full of pills and pre-workouts, protein powders, cream of rice
Carbing up on 5 boxes of breakfast cereal and whey shakes
Saw one guy, great physique I will give him that, he had two small meals of chicken (pre-cooked in a bag) and rice on his re-feed day, the rest was supplements
If anything is killing these guys early its all the additives in the shit they eat

Exactly, supplements absolutely loaded with artificial sweeteners, food dyes, fillers like guar gum etc...taking this shit multiple times daily (greens powder, pre/intra/post, whey, sleep supps) most bbers taking in several servings of this shit day in and day out. Then all you hear on these podcasts how bloated they feel, all the digestive issues they have, hell Brett Wilken had to drop out of the Olympia due to digestive problems. Never heard about this shit happening to bodybuilders in the 70s-80s.

Chocolate whey protein has been my main source of protein for years and it’s made my life much easier. Scoop of whey in water + piece of fruit + spoonful of nut butter, and I’m on w my life.

Not too much of an effort to pop 1kg of chicken in the oven on Sunday and eat this through the week. Only reason I drink powders these days is because all that chicken will constipate you sooner or later.

Do they really take all these supps daily or just in videos to sell products?
I know when i was heavy into weightlifting and power lifting, none of the guys i trained with even took pre-workout supps and we all ate like monsters. Real food, lots of steaks, fish, chicken, rice, potatoes, etc.
Maybe a shake once a day.

1kg of raw chicken is like 175g of protein, that’s barely even a whole days protein intake for a serious lifter.

I stopped using whey protein a few months back and my health is a lot better, less allergy symptoms in my eyes and better gut health.
I probably have some intolerance or allergies to it.

True, 99% of the crap they consume is simply crap. Even rice and chicken are poor food choices. Lack of nutrients etc. Red meat, eggs, raw dairy and some fruit if you want carbs is all you need.

All I do every night is throw 4lbs of grass fed ground beef in a crock pot before I go to bed, it slowly cooks overnight, when I wake up it's ready to go, no prep time at all.

If you're putting it overnight anyway why not do chuck or a roast? Will be fall apart tender and you won't have to worry about what else might have been ground into it.
