that's odd it worked the other day. but is out of order today. it was about Dick "don't call me Richie' Allen. he swung a 42 oz bat. for reference HARper on the phillies now swings an 11 oz lighter bat.

The average bat in the MLB today is 30oz.

The first time I went to Florida for spring training was in 1978 and Bill Robinson of the Pirates gave me his bat … that was a heavy ass bat (especially for a kid.)
