That ship has sailed. They are obviously illegal immigrants, but the entire media, including conservative media, refers to them as "migrants." I don't, but I never have a problem being in a tiny minority. I will not let them manipulate my language.

I live not far from a large “migrant” center and run by it often. I know the area backwards. What jumps out is that almost everybody is dark skin black, looking like they came from Africa. I don’t see anybody Mexican looking.
They also don’t seem very downtrodden. Most have IPhones and are fairly well dressed.
The million dollar question of course is “How did they get here?”

The logical answer is that they’re trying to turn Texas blue. If that happens, hard to see Republicans winning a Presidential election.

It’s at the bottom left.Used to be soccer fields there. It looks like an Army Barracks. They put it up fast. It’s fenced off. So,you can’t just walk in. There’s always a police presence there.
Not sure about meals, laundry, mail etc.
There are no stores on Randall’s Island. So, you have to take a little road trip to get basics.
