Not shocked....some movies you don't mess with.  Trailer was basically the whole fucking movie.
Yeah, the movie was already legendary because of Lee dying. No way this movie had a chance.

This one doesn't look horrible, but they should've doctored the script enough, so that you don't automatically think of the 90's film. I remember in the 80's they used to quietly remake things sometimes, where it would surprise you that 2 films had the same source material. That way of thinking about film production seems gone.

It's much harder to get unique films financed today. The studios want sure things.
