good point, I'm old enough to remember before OSHA and all those other pesty gov't regulations, how workers had the right to have black lung, emphysema, missing fingers because machines weren't required to have guards and such over moving parts. I was 16 years old working while I was in high school, and you were allowed to work 28 hours during the school week, the non-union company told me I could work as many as I wanted to just write the extra time on the back of the punch card and they would take care of it. mighty nice of them. :D

Or you could do what I did. I didn’t get a penny from my parents, but wanted money and things so I needed work. I didn’t have a lawnmower and because I had no vehicle was restricted to riding my bike. So I would ride and if I saw someone doing yard work I would stop and offer to finish it for them (using their equipment). Since I was using their tools it was a very cheap rate. I would do that literally all day idjring summer. I got enough money to buy a mower and eventually weedeater and a few other little tools. I had to pull that shit with my bike on a trailer that (oh shit being the privileged guy that I am) my father did help me build. I did that en entire summer and during school on weekends and after football practice. Eventually bought a truck and started making a lot more to help build a nice savings. Yeh I missed some shit that other kids did, but I didn’t REALLY miss it.
I grew up around one of the most highly saturated areas in the country with chemical plants.dozens of members of my family and friends have worked or still do at them.
I didn’t like the filth and never wanted the health risk - so I made my own way.
I do get that SOME government regulations are needed, but when I opened my first business and we added on a small wood working shop to the retail side - I saw just how OVER regulated things can get

The Supreme Court of the United States has "judged" that any official action taken by the POTUS is legal
If the POTUS deems anyone a threat to our democracy he now has the legal capacity to kill that person or throw them in jail without a trial or anything else that he wants to do
