The people I thought I could trust the most.
I thought saint Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland. Well, he certainly left a few. They can be closer to home than you think. In your back garden even. You mightn’t see them until it’s too late. But it’s not too late.
My heart is broken. I lost so many friends over the lockdowns and me not taking the clot shot. Now I’ve lost my family. I didn’t want to believe it. But no point lying to yourself.

I found out information through analysis of family members body language and talking for hours. They let the veil slip. First one, second one same day. It’s a weight off of my shoulders as I can carry on with my life not being in guilt because I loved them but trust is part of love.
Some people don’t care about money, they care about respect. Had my eyes wide shut. I still can’t believe it. But it’ll make me stronger.

Fathers either left them alone, or were distant most of the time and not encouraging them. Some even despised them which would shape their personality and the way they interact with others for the rest of their life. They are extremistic in everything they do, always looking exaggeratly for attention (Hello Goodrum), and have troubles adapting to society's rules, because they also have troubles defining their own identity and respecting authority and hierarchy.
Also boys who got picked on by others during childhood and adolescence -often sons without a father figure- try to compensate by lifting weights, to develop muscles and survive in ther male world. They're insecure because they're girly, childish, feminine having been raised by a single mom. They lift obsessively hoping it will transform them into men, to compensate for their lack of influence from a father figure that was not there. Unfortunately they can get as big as they can but it doesn't cure their insecurity and who they truly are, how they grew up being raised by a single mom. They're not as manly as other men whatever they do, and they often have a big lack of masculine presence they don't know how to balance, hence often being borderline homosexuals while trying to get their manhood back through various manly activities (MMA, cars, weight lifting etc.).
They are often the ones that, in order to get respect from other males, will go the steroids route to get even "bigger", attempting to cure their insecurity, but being natural not being "enough", they still feel "too small", insecure, amongst other males. The lack of a father figure also often means they didn't have guidance to continue studies and are often working shitty manual jobs.

Probably so. But that is because of western ideals and living, it's a taught trait because of how societies are built in the west(asian countries like Japan are pretty much the same but not as much). Like equality. Women are in the workfield same as men and they start behaving like men because of that, they have to toughen up. +a bunch of propaganda in media and so on. Lowered morals because of that aswell, monogamy is for many women a thing of past etc. Be a tough chick with attitude etc.. I didn't know Dave was a big drinker, tbh. It's a dangerous drug. Alcohol is my trigger when I've had relationship breakdowns, etc. Never turns out well. When I'm training, I never get tempted to drink, even if my personal life is having bumps; whereas if I hit a pothole and don't have a training routine, it all goes to shit.
Hope you're okay, Dave. If whatever is going on is combined with drinking mate, I'm hoping that you do your best to minimise it as it leads down a dark path.

I know one guy that lost it that used to work doing what I did. He lost touch with reality. Put a supermarket chicken in the washing machine when he was making dinner. Thing was spinning around at 1200 rpm and he thought that was a fab way to make his Sunday roast. Shame.
