Like many, I recently saw Andrew Wilson make Alpha male Wes Watson his plaything, using wit and wisdom.
I was very impressed with him. Decided to go down the rabbit hole and binged lots of Wilson's videos.
It's a real pleasure listening to him debate. His logic and eloquence are on par with some of the greats like Sam Harris or even Christopher Hitchens.
However, many of his views taken to their logical conclusions, lead to fundamentalism and zealotry, it seems.
Another glaring issue, is that it seems like Wilson never debates women who are his intellectual equal.
Or, maybe I just haven't been able to find any such content.
I'd be interested to see him debate women in a 'fair fight'.
Not just teenagers and weirdos. Any suggestions for videos with Wilson that I can watch where he takes on someone who is just as nimble and intelligent as he?

This gets a plea deal to misdemeanor assault. Watson lawyer wont risk the felony charge trial and the DA wont risk letting him walk. How much time he gets kind of depends on his prior and current parole terms. But I would guess we are talking months not years.

He will agree to something on the misdemeanor instead of risking a felony trial and longer incarceration. God help me, I agree with BHank Esq. The bond was $5000, so I doubt they even think it's serious. If I was Watson, I let the lawyer string it along and grind it down. This won't be anything huge, also these things also wear down the "victim", good chance he gets uncooperative.

Hopefully he gets arrested for also being an idiot in the meantime but he is not a sympathetic victim. A jury isnt going to like the 7 foot monster setting up a camera for a gym fight. You just need to convince 1 juror he is innocent short man fearing his life from the 7 foot monster the DA needs to convince 12 he is guilty.

They could have had a simple arm-wrestling match or competed in the Krankenstein 3 minute interval sand bag overhead juggling challenge with a 100 yard trailing burpee there was no need for this.

I haven't checked if they are still there before I typed this, but if you go to his earlier YouTube videos they were actually a decent watch - a combination of hilarious (due to his over-acting) but sort of coming from the right place - emphasising willpower, freedom of choice, etc. It's the diametric opposite of what he's become

It's more amusing than you describe it.
In the old vids, he does all that whilst mentioning that he was incarcerated for essentially being the show pony that he'd grown out of in jail.
For me, my experience was seeing those vids, forgetting about him for a year or two until oh, yeah, there he is, back to being the show pony.

In the old vids, he does all that whilst mentioning that he was incarcerated for essentially being the show pony that he'd grown out of in jail.
For me, my experience was seeing those vids, forgetting about him for a year or two until oh, yeah, there he is, back to being the show pony.

Agreed. It must be easier to proclaim the virtues of abstinence (and burpees) when you're fresh out of prison. Over time, I suppose it's a part of each person's psychopathology (if that's the right term) how much one is able to resist temptation, etc. And OK that gym fight was bullshit - but with this latest thing you're either the type of man to beat a woman, or you're not

Given his previous history a judge isn't likely to go light on him. Those figures of 20+ years are max times for each individual charge. A judge can give minimum time if convicted. If he's smart, he'll plea out a boatload of those charges into a small charge.

Thanks for the clarification - I guess these social media types are inflating things to generate interest - it'll be interesting to see how this actually pans out. I'm clearly no expert on the US legal system, but the fact that he's an ex-prisoner and these crimes all involve violence must surely lead to some time inside again?
And if so, with all the exposure, I'm not sure that he'll need to go back to 'hooping' his papers this time round ;D

I haven't checked if they are still there before I typed this, but if you go to his earlier YouTube videos they were actually a decent watch - a combination of hilarious (due to his over-acting) but sort of coming from the right place - emphasising willpower, freedom of choice, etc. It's the diametric opposite of what he's become
