Explain what you believe is wrong with the U.S. education system. It seems okay to me. 78.2% of the U.S. population has a bachelor’s degree or higher. If education has anything to do with great wealth, the U.S. has 902 billionaires. Which is more than any other country in the world. This number includes Elon Musk who earned two bachelor's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and was admitted to a graduate program at Stanford University, which he did not complete.

Where did you get this stat? It's spectacularly wrong. The great majority of the U.S. population does not have a bachelor's degree or higher. From the U.S. Census Bureau:
In 2021, the highest level of education of the population age 25 and older in the United States was distributed as follows:
8.9% had less than a high school diploma or equivalent.
27.9% had high school graduate as their highest level of school completed.
14.9% had completed some college but not a degree.
10.5% had an associate degree as their highest level of school completed.
23.5% had a bachelor’s degree as their highest degree.
14.4% had completed an advanced degree such as a master’s degree, professional degree or doctoral degree.

And large sections of the education system are broken. There are numerous school districts where the majority of kids are not proficient in reading. It's a crisis.

Explain to you whats wrong with the education systems? Besides coming out dumber than when they went in? You think because someone has a degree it makes the education system "okay"?

The fact that you would ask that tells us that you are part of the problem.

Who is us? Are you more than one person or are you one person with multiple personalities? And the one person who is avoiding answering my question. This suggests to me that you don't know the answer. ;)

Well, check my recent posts. Surprise, surprise, I did answer your questions this time. Don't get accustomed to it though because I may not always do this, because you ask too many questions. ;D

I agree that the figure is incorrect. I do not recall and cannot find where I found that information, but it is definitely wrong.

According to Snopes.com = More Than Half of Americans Read Below a 6th-Grade Level?
This claim is true, according to a review of the U.S. education system that was conducted in September 2020. Let's explore.
A Gallup analysis published in March 2020 looked at data collected by the U.S. Department of Education in 2012, 2014, and 2017. It found that 130 million adults in the country have low literacy skills, meaning that more than half (54%) of Americans between the ages of 16 and 74 read below the equivalent of a sixth-grade level, according to a piece published in 2022 by APM Research Lab. As a point of reference in 6 th grade I was given some sort of proficiency test, It was found that I read at a 12 th grade level and was in the 99 percentile for vocabulary= It's been all down hill since. I've regressed to just your average moron.
