If Trump cured cancer they would complain about him putting oncologists out of work.

You have a point, except that Trump will never cure cancer or any other disease. Medical science might have though except that Trump appointed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, who cut significant funding for medical research.
