US planners now have enough firepower positioned to seize key ports and airfields if ordered, according to the Washington Examiner.

I'm not a fan of this move or of guaranteeing Qatar's safety. The U.S. should be reducing its foreign entanglements, not deepening them.

Seizing Venezuela's ports and airfields will drag us into another Iraq-like quagmire. Once secured, these assets will be handed over to bogus contractors, with insiders like those at Halliburton reaping massive profits behind closed doors.

I'm all for killing cartel/drug runners, but not so keen on the taking over of oil fields.
