couldn´t happen to a better Guy...utter Kunt

In May 1989, Rourke revealed that he donated most of his £1.5 million earnings from starring in Francesco to support Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) member Joe Doherty's campaign to receive political asylum in the United States. Doherty was wanted by the British government for his role in the killing of Grenadier Guards officer Herbert Westmacott. After being arrested in the U.S. in 1983, Doherty's campaign became a cause célèbre as he fought an ultimately unsuccessful nine-year legal battle against being extradited. Rourke's donation was criticized by victims of IRA bombing attacks in England.[66][67] Doherty was eventually deported to Northern Ireland and imprisoned, but was subsequently released under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement

When it comes to losing all your money and going broke, the only thing I have less sympathy for than NBA players are movie stars.  It is really mind boggling how they align themselves up to go broke through bad choices and vices.

I think the movie stars are fucked. The movie business has crashed compared to its peak. It looks like AI will replace most of them. And the actors seem to know it. Have you noticed how every A-List celebrity does commercials and ads for products non stop now. Even Oscar winners are doing fuckin T-Mobile and coffee commercials. Commercial work like this was almost never done by big time actors. It was always no-name people or beginning actors. They’re going to get phased out just like most people. Look at how AI is already changing the music business.

He most likely has been a nutter for all his life and on top of that maybe a generous dude in regards to money... deadly combo.
I hope somebody rich will bail him out and save him from total meltdown.
