We just had the -10 to 10 for a month or so now its just sno sno and more snow. Got 5 last night now they are saying 15-24 Monday. Fuck this shit.

This is similar to how miserable I will be having to spend my first summer in Florida since the 2010s.
Other than the Everglades, SWFL is the worst place to be in the summer here.
In the winter it has the most dry weather so Ill enjoy it while I can.

I miss an open fireplace this time of year, its a great thing to have in your home. At the country home I would have a big stash of turf cut and stored.

Open fireplace = smoke in the room and all heat goes out the chimney.

These are very popular here in Holland because of the high prices for natural gas heating. But you need electricity for such a pellet stove:

And they are more expensive than a wood burning stove. But you can leave the house and the pellets will automatically be fed to the stove / fire. So it works without having to put wood on the fire every hour or two hours.
But charcoal briquettes can slowly burn for 10 hours but they cause more air pollution. Not ideal when other houses are very close by, less of a problem in very big countries with lots of space.

70-75 F daytime high here past two days. We will get a cold spell for a few days- down to about 50. Got 4" of snow this year. I'm glad winter is over.

Climate change nazis wont use turf, peat briquettes were banned for production in Ireland now they are imported from Poland ::)

It was 75 degrees Sunday afternoon; by Sunday evening it was in the 40s. We even have a freeze warning in the wee hours of the morning (in the high 20s). But, by Thursday, it'll be a high of 80 again.

People always complain of the weather here but I just say it's Sweden! What do you expect? You're 30-40-50 and you still bitch over the obvious :D
I'm an anomaly since I like colder weather and snow, even like rain. In the summer heat I'm miserable a lot of times. If it's cold you can put on clothes or take a hot bath or whatever but if it's hot you can't remove any clothes once you are naked. Plus androgens make you run hot :D
