Fort Hood shooter's execution will be livestreamed, Pentagon says
The public will be able to watch the execution of a former US Army major by firing squad, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has said.
An official from the Defense Department told the BBC the execution of Nidal Hasan, who fatally shot 13 unarmed US soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009, would be livestreamed.
The Pentagon had announced earlier this week that it would execute Hasan in the first military execution in more than 60 years.

It’s interesting to how desensitized we have become to so many issues (Epstein files, homelessness, sexual issues, GTA games) but the public execution of a murderer is taboo.
It’s crazy these were normal throughout history.

I don't care either way, kill him the traditional way with a handful of witnesses or kill him on livestream. Same difference. My main annoyance is with the theatrics of it all. This is another thing tossed out to keep the news and our thoughts away from the stagnation of the War.
