Arnold claimed to have shitty calves at an early age. I've never seen a pic exemplifying this. I always thought his calves were pretty good, and I don't think you could train any way around it (curse of genes), and he had 95% of his mass by 20. His thighs were a weak point, so maybe that brought his calves up (kinda how Ronnie's calves look small because his thighs are fucking beach balls).

Arnold's calves were a weak point but he started training them hardcore and after a few years they were better then coleman's could ever be and he was only in his early 20's, also i would have to say that arnold has a much more impressive looking physique mainly because of his waist size compared to the rest of him (the weight is spread out better).

Arnold has a better Most Musuclar (chest is far better) and yet another BBer who has a harder drier back than Ronnie, just like Yates. I know you go for that BUMPY look but people want to see details. Look at the detail in Arnold's back. I won't bring up calves because I know you hate that but also take into consideration that the present "relaxed" shots consist of much more flexing than in Arnold's day.

when you are comparing an 8 time current mr. O. to the Mr. Olympia 1970, you don't really need the greatest pics to see that it isn't really close..

How do you know how much Arnold and Ronnie took? Arnold was on the juice since he was a teenager ::) I'm sure Coleman uses a greater combination of drugs, but Arnold had a head start.

hard to say. Ronnie was determined, but didn't really get heavy into the drugs until "later" in his career - even though he was always on them

I've seen that pic of Ronnie at full size and he has plenty of cuts/hardness there and his arms are clearly better than Arnie's in that pic! It's not even close.

I've always thought the samething. They have never looked bad in any pic i've seen. Ronnie is a better bber than Arnold, but Arnold is a better everyhting else. 99.9% woudl rather look like Arnold and be able to do normal activities.

Again its not 100% fair for Arnold in these debates because Ronnie enjoys advantages Arnold didn't have anyway , whats odd is while being seperated by 40 years or so , Arnold in that comparison looks comprable to Ronnie but as a whole Ronnie has to many advanatges , however a more accurate comparison would be comparing them as at simlar weights , Arnold at 240lbs and Ronnie at 220lbs and then well see who comes out on top

Wrong 1974 Olympia Arnold was at his heaviest Olympia weight , so nice try , he was 235lbs in 1975 !! and the pic you posted of Ron is from the 1998 Olympia he was 249lbs , so thats not a fair comparision because Arnold is taller ;)

The same discussion could be made about taking pitcher from the 60-70s and putting him in a baseball game today, he would get killed. Not because he isn’t good but because the game has changed.

when it comes to tape mesurments of the actual muscle when ron is 220-225 and arnold is 240, arnold takes him in every single muscle YES including thighs and even neck.
any dumb begginer can see ron (although with or with out hormones is a beast) has written SUPER PHARMACY on his forhead. nothing wrong with that but its a fact.
*the 15lb is to make them equal visually due to 2-3 inch height diff arnold 6'1"-6'2" ron 5'11

Actually, my calves are in excess of 14 inches. Hahahahaha, now you'll never be rid of me ;D You should have asked that my arms reach 14 inches; then you would have been in luck ;D
