Bush's approval rating is hovering in the 20's now, so mathematically that means around 20 or so people will be watching him!

Don't get me wrong.. I like Phil, I appreciate Phil being the winner of the Colo pro and as such he deserves his time in the sun.. but.. wasn't he already a guest on PBBW? Date: 03/20/06 ??.. I don't know but will he have anything else or different to say? .. Why not give the mike to someone who hasn't been on before? Up until recently, PBBW was good quality. But I must say (besides the Haney interview) the wheels have fallen off recently.
1. The "repeat" Branch Warren interview.
2. The roundtable episode..
3. Bob Chick's hotseat interview... give us a break he's on every week.
The repeat Branch episode was kind of a dud, but the roundtable was good, so was Bob's interview, it was a widely talked about topic among the message boards. It was good to hear some more insight from Bob.

Love the feedback. -- We are commited to featuring the winners of each contest following the event. Heath won the Colorado event, hence the seat belongs to him. We have learned that everyone wants something different. Our last 4 consecutive shows have been our largest audiences to date (thanks for tuning in). We just confirmed Mike Francois for our June 5th broadcast...and the list of future guests will not disappoint.

Isn't it a little anti-climatic since he already was on muscleradio today. Lets here from Dareem on how he feels about taking 2nd to a rookie.
-
I listened to Muscleradio today but no Phil. Looks like he bailed out because his Weider sponsors who also sponsors Probodybuildingweeky chose to dictate which radio show Phil can go on.
But it is crap that Phil agrees to go on a show and then bails out. That is not a professional way to go.

I thought muscleradio was female BBing? I tried to load it today but it didn't work.
Did Phil really cancel?

"I made sure that the powers that be in the IFBB and NPC were not opposed to the show in advanced. I spoke to Peter McGough on it, told him that the guest was going to be Phil Heath, had a great conversation, told him it was not a Musclemag Productions, and that Sprayflex owns it.
"I did get an email from Peter McGough saying that due to contractual obligations, Phil can’t appear on the show, but that was via email this morning. "
Am I reading that right? According to his side of the story, Peter McGough allowed Larry Pepe to wrongly believe Phil would do the show. Then McGough sent a last minute email cancelling Phil Heath, leaving Larry with nothing but excuses in his hand on the DEBUT night of his show.
If true, that is cold. Peter, can you comment on this?
Peter McGough reads the boards. I'd like to hear his side of this.
-
Now I hear Weider athletes are ONLY allowed to do the Pro Bbing weekly show.
This would mean that the IFBB does not care about reaching the biggest possibly audience. No, they care more about controlling everything on a small scale.
I bet the Weiders really like their Beta max VCR.

What a bunch of crap. That's called being scared of competition. BBweekly is not even close to being a major radio show. It has no rating except for what they tell you. Now another station comes in and now they are afraid to let someone speak on it. And it was scheduled prior. How come they didn't schedule it. This is so funny when a half-assed show has to do this. This is hwo the IFBB pros act when they have an appearance they agreed to do. The IFBB should be ashamed of themselves as should anyone associated with this decision. A radio show to promote BB and AMI and the IFBB yank the first guest of is an IFBB pro. Very embarrassing, yet another power trip move. They just took away additional promotion for the up coming NY Pro and whatever else Phil may do in the future all because they are scared. :'( :'(

Dude, I am becoming worried about you?
Everyone of your posts continue to be negative and littered with profanity.
Go ahead and Pull the Trigger before you eat yourself to death! :'(
-
I know I am cussing more lately. Maybe cause I am watching Bad Santa. Don't you just hate it when someone schedules something then cancels without even calling. And the only reason they cancel is because someone is so insecure and worried they won't allow them to do anything except for them.
-
did phil sign the exclusive contract?
-
Sean, were you close to do it?
-
Lets here from Dareem on how he feels about taking 2nd to a rookie.
My friend, that is a terrific idea! Tune in tonight...perhaps we'll have them BOTH on...
-
Dan, you shoud get Milos on the show ASAP.
-
Dan, what's up with Phil Heath not being allowed to do Larry Pepe's show?
That totally rained on his debut show. Cold stuff to keep down a competitor, or just a simple misunderstanding?
And if a misunderstanding, who knew what when? Peter McGough dropped a hammer on Pepe's peepee and totally killed his debut :(
-
It would be great, Dan, if you could get Darrem and Phil on the show to discuss the results of Colorado show. Even better if you could a few sparks to fly.
-
sorry i missed the show
-
Solomon! Yo rock man. He really got dareem to the show after reading that post. Way to go bro. The shoe was good too, keep it up Dan and Bob.

We aim to please. -- It was fun chatting with Phil and Darrem together on the show. Both athletes are all class....and they're looking forward to the re-match this weekend in New York. The replay is now available, on-demand. (www.ProBodybuildingWeekly.com (http://www.ProBodybuildingWeekly.com))

First off, get your facts straight bro because you obviously are just guessing on what actually took place. I was suppose to be on the show as planned, but was told that I could not because of contractual obligations between Bodybuilding.com and AMI/Weider. I was more than ready as was Larry Pepe and Isaac Hinds my friend and videographer to shoot this event, but it did not happen. Next time, take a minute and really do your research before you go on here and say things that are not true ok.
Thanks!

My guess is mr dan called someone last minute at weider whinning like a baby... then puts phil on monday to rub it in larry's face ??? this couldn't have come from peter. and the dumb ass who said phil is unprofessional is just that, a dumb ass. the gift is as professional as they come.
hell yeah!!!

LOL @ "get your facts straight bro"
Phil is one of those dudes that calls everyone 'bro'!

Actually Phil had nothing to do with the decision of being on the show. And to tell you the truth there should not have been an issue at all regarding this. Nothing should have happened. He should have been able to do the show like he promised. But, McGough and AMI saw another threat cause they have invested in PBBW and they do not want any competition. Just like PDI and the IFBB. Simple as that no other excuse is neccessary or real. When someone is afraid they do what they can do stop them. And McGough, AMI, IFBB, Manion and the Weiders are doing everything they can to stop the progress of progress in BB. And for anyone to go along with it is stupid. Simple as that.
