Im eating some wild rice, about 1 cup a day, is this cheating? Should I be sticking to brown or white? I noticed the Sodium was high on them on the label..other than that, ok carb source?

Well, the sodium must be coming from whatever seasoning is with your rice. Wild rice (grass) is right up there with white on the GI scale - brown is a lot lower. However, the GL is much lower than white. If you like the taste, it should be an ok carb.

Thanks..I love wild rice, better than brown and white..i eat them too, but just want variation..Going ok so far down to 228..
