Title: PDI- NOC vs IFBB Olympia this fall? which would you attend
Post by: HowieW on May 16, 2006, 08:13:50 PM
As it stands now I am going to go to the new PDI Night of the Champions  and avoid the Olympia.
Why? The O is being held in the same crappy dual venue format as last year. Plus, despite being a great event, you know what you get at the Olympia. Lots of great physiques but pretty much the same thing.
The PDI may be a bomb, but with Lee P along if a few other name guys sign up, it could be an incredible event.I think Wayne is hungry to make it a major success.
When are tickets on sale?

Are they the same weekend?

Does anyone have a link to the PDI's website?  I definitely intend to support the upstart organization.

If their big Vegas event is the same weekend as the Olympia, I would attend both, but suspect that the Olympia would have the slightly better Expo this time around.

Howie - I agree that the distance between the event venue and Expo at the Olympia makes it very problematic for visitors.  The Olympia Expo was smallish, too...I mean, there were 'enough' people, I reckon, but I was able to see the entire thing in about 45 minutes.
