Title: Kris Dim's Retirement from Bodybuilding
Post by: Ex Coelis on May 18, 2006, 01:25:48 PM
Kris said in the new Flex mag that he plans on retiring from competition when he turns 37. Seems like a good plan. His physique is impressive but I doubt he'll ever win a show or make the top 10 at the Olympia. He's got a hot wife and young kids on whom he could better spend his time and effort.

Dude - the problem is that the smaller bodybuilders have no chance against the big guys. Feel sorry for them. They should break it down into two classes - one over 230 - another under 230 - and at least let them compete fairly.

I hope he is.

If he's decided to quit, which seems like a smart decision on his part since he doesn't seem like a guy who will ever go and win anything, the sooner he gets out, the better.

Good luck Kris.

That's kinda harsh but true.  If you're not going to make some real money,i.e. enough to treat the medical problems you'll get later in life after doing what's "necessary" to be a top pro, then for the love of god, retire and save your organs!

With all due respect Kris, I look great!  However, you simply cannot run with the big dogs!  Judges, and critics alike, are alreadybiased with your build.  Concentrate on your business career and family.  Much love.

He was never a contender.
