I didn`t see them in pre-judging, you??
-
they were late for the comeback, they will be there on his next comeback.
-
You're not funny. Eveyone knows he had a terrible stomach virus and threw them up right along with the oatmeal while he was carbing up. Poor, poor Kamali!
-
I cant wait to read the October issue of Muscular Development...you know, the issue where they will cover the NY PRO...so I can read about how many guys claim they were off because at the last minute they got a stomach virus or food poisoning in their hotel room after eating a little bit of chicken or oatmeal...
-
All kidding aside, wouldn't it be nice to see just one guy taking responsibility for his failure?
Instead of tending to their gay fans who wants to cuddle their heroes-gone-wrong...
Nah, instead it's all about viruses and weird carb ups (yeah, blame it on Teh Chad).

Back with a dungheap is more like it for Shari. Here's a picture of Farah (of all people) handily owning Kamali:
The smile on Farah's face says it all as does the scowl on Kamali's face. Farah's thinking, Dude, I'm totally owning you and Kamali's thinking, Dude, I totally know it and hate it.

Here's a gem for you folks. Read it through. From Flexonline
It's Heath vs. Charles, Part II, in New York City
The 2006 New York Pro prejudging is over, but the battle has yet to be decided. Phil Heath, who won his pro debut at the Colorado Pro last week, has lost some of his sharpness - but the gifted one may still have enough muscle, symmetry, proportion and cuts to hold off Darrem Charles yet again.
Charles was drier than during his second-place showing in Denver, and his muscle maturity and quality yet again beg the question, how is it that this guy doesn't get his due in the Olympia and Arnold? Meanwhile, Heath has "potential" written all over him; his slightly off physique is still incredible, and with a few more modifications to bring his muscularity on par with his 5'9" height, possibly unbeatable. Keep in mind, his next loss on a bodybuilding stage will be his first at any level of the game.
Jostling for third are David Henry, who's flawlessly shaped physique is hindered by his lack of height and overall size, and big man Dennis James, who has trimmed down a bit but isn't as detailed as he needs to be. Based on the callouts, James is probably third at this point, Henry fourth. Other contenders making their case for the top 10 include Bill Wilmore, Rodney St. Cloud, George Farah, Pavol Jablonicky, and Jaroslav Horvath.
Meanwhile, there were some notable names with not-so-notable showings. King Kamali brought a number of supporters with him in the crowd, all wearing yellow T-shirts proclaiming "The King Back With a Vengeance." The first part of that statement was true, as he was back on stage after last competing at the 2005 San Francisco Pro. However, the second part wasn't quite realistic. He'll likely make the top 10, but his performance is more memorable for his poor attitude in trying to start a scuffle with Farah and Horvath during callouts rather than anything remarkable about his physique.
Other well-known names who didn't bring their A-game include Russian Alexander Fedorov, who is huge but lacks proportion and definition; Eryk Bui, who is flat and not nearly as impressive as he was at the Ironman in February; and Norway's Tommi Thorvildsen, who has yet to recapture the shredded condition that earned him major kudos (and sixth place) at the 2001 Night of Champions.

I think Shawn Ray could stop by at the local McDonalds and tip Shahriar, giving back some of those $500 that Maloney was tricked into betting.

I find it odd that on Kamali's new site there is no mention to his wife or link to her site . . . I wonder if Babs finally figured this punk out.

With forearms like that how did he become a fukking pro?
Farah is totally pwning king there, and his bi's look like they have been enhanced slightly aswell.
-
What about his bicep? And Forearms?
he has no forearms...wow...lol
-
They were stolen...by the same dude that took his forearms.

Bahahahahahahah what a joke!
Here's Kamali thinking, damn why do I still have a gut?
King brings a bit of the bad boy to bbing like Titus, so he has his place in the sport. But there is a BIG problem in motown when he cant top 5 against this line up. Maybe I'll be wrong by evening's end. Who the hell is the little guy with funny hair next to him in one of the photos? How did he get a procard... because I want mine now.
-
kings arms...or should i say lack of arms...really hurt him.
-
Kamali looks like SHIT!!
He's dancing er; I mean "posing" right now..Hhahahahahahaha!
-
Poor King - needs to lay off the slin and GH
cool guy but his gut is bigger than ever
where are his arms? they're alwyas huge off season. did he lose them?
-
i think its time to stop raggin on kamali, he has shown he is'nt relevant anymore !

;D
-
Owned lol King of mediocrity
-
Chad Nichols ruined Kings physique by getting him to grow too fast - all that slin and GH destroyed his waist and his competitive future
-
Kamali and Sean Maloney own3d!

Disgusted seems like a reasonable bloke.
I wonder, with the insight he has of Kamali's physique, how he could consider Kamali a top finisher?
It blows my mind.
Sidenote:
What will it be this time from the Kamali camp: Cold? Nausea? Diarreah? Bird Virus?

It was the Gakic!!!!!!!!!! Or The Creakic!
-
as usual King will claim he was sick last night or whatever...He shouldn't have even been in the top 10 and i would have kept him out of the top 15...
-
Kamali got ninth???? Holy shit my damn dsl got blown out by lightning, fcuk!!!!
-
federov should have gotten higher. at least higher than kamali.
-
Does have the final standings beyond the top 5?
-
Chad told a 270 lbs Kamali to bulk up to 300 before he would train him - he got up to 312. Totally fucked up his physique - he used to have a tiny waist - now its an alien queen pregnancy
too bad to, because I really like Kamali. Damn Chad . . .

Who is the little dude to King's left?

Ken "Too small to be on juice" Jones

Kamali wasn't 270. his legs and triceps were small too

In this picture I see a man, who is going to start some serious whining in his web-site, how he have been robbed again by the Jury, because he should be a winner with his mighty physique...There is that "here we go again"- look in his face ;D
-
I wonder what his excuse will be this time.... flu? food poisoning? ninjas? bubonic plague? ::)
Real reason: Overdieting and the fact it really looks like the growth abuse has pushed that midsection past the point of no return.

from the webcast.... broadcast i had him top 3 as well .. he did look well conditioned... there....to be truthful the pictures posted show a different story
-
i think if he had brought in andreas munzer conditioning with those stick calves, he could have cracked top 3. It'll be interesting to see what he looked like in the 1,2,3 week out pics, which were reputed to be so good.

And don't they have him on their current cover. Damn, to be dropped by your sponsor company, yet to be put on their cover.
dang - he's hawking SAN fat burners now in the new MD

i demand you speak up and defend your actions at the NY Pro show and those monster 16 and a half inch arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When people who talk shit place bad, it makes me happy
remember when he said in a recent interview:" Dave Henry, he looks ok but he is a midget ! he must wait 150 pound soaking wet "( or something like taht, i dont remember the exacts words) YET, Dave beat him easy

I just posted over at Mayhem about this issue. Apparently, Kinky Kamali said something to the effect of Henry's inflated head was getting bigger than his "180-pound physique". And wouldn't you know it--who placed ahead of Kamali at the New York show not too long ago?
Kamali, get killed.
-
You're not funny. Eveyone knows he had a terrible stomach virus and threw them up right along with the oatmeal while he was carbing up. Poor, poor Kamali!
And then his flying carpet crapped out cuz it was past its 70,000 mile thread up, while he was waiting for AAA aliens abducted his arms, legs, and conditioning.
-
I think that married to life to lovely Barabra may have matured KING. He did some really good thing in regards to his "comeback" at the NYC show:
1. He came in condition, rather than trying to be a BIGGER version only.
2. He understands it was close for 5th but knows the game and realizes he is knocking at the door for an OLympia qualification again.
3. He was able to mix some trash tallking with postive realistic ideas about his physque and the sport overall.
4. He didn't quite make the top 5, but put himself back on the radar of many fans once again.
5. He has some weak points still, most do and he will work hard to improve them I am sure.
He didn't resort to desperate means like obvious synthol in the tris or comming on bloated, etc.
He gets rid of the rump shakin part and his routines will be 100% fun and effective.
6. I didn't see the pushing episode, I was not at the show. I suspect it was as many already said, a minor incident that hyped the crowd. If was really bad I suspect he might be DQ'd , which he wasn't.
7. I was no fan of Kings in the past, but after this show and how he acted overall, I must admit I am intersted in his career now. I am sure many others will be as well. Good job KING>
When/where is his radio interview?
-
This is exactly what I said would happen ::)
-
"4. He didn't quite make the top 5, but put himself back on the radar of many fans once again."
That's not quite true. He would be put on the radar if he truely deserved 6th place, but I don't think there is anyone out there that feels he deserved that placing. There were quite a few that easily had Kamali beat.
Disagree , but no matter, he did come in shape this time and was in the thick of it for a $$ spot.

His palumboish is really showing this year...skinny limbs with a HUGE gut...Its too bad because i'm sure the guy works very hard...Drugs take their toll that is for sure...King never in his life should have competed over the weight of 235...Just didn't have the structure to try to be a mass monster...
-
Well your one of the three people on here that feel Kamali deserved his spot. It's one thing to come in conditioned, and it's another to come in looking good. Kamali has way too many flaws now that are irreversible, which is a shame because he once had a boat load of potential.
I am not as kind or unreasoable and you might imagine. I simply feel he got a fair placement and it was close. He could have placed anywhere between 4th thru 7th however, it was that close.
I prefer Jorvath's kind physque over guys like King or Bill Willmouth. However, King has a point that musculaity is a key ingredient in a modern pro something but he and big Bill had a lot of and Dennis James lacked overall.
Heath and Charles were light years ahead of the pack, DJ has great shape and size but was smooth. David Henry is awesome but slightly small in a tough pro line up. I would have called it as follows:
1st Darrem 2nd Heath 3rd David Henry 4th DJ 5th Jorvath 6th King 7th Big Bill

Kamali didn't look so good :-\
Compared to Jay Cutler, well, no, but compared to his last show and at least half the line up at THIS show, yes, he looked pretty good when he posed, overall.

Put Kamali 1st place, but him last place only the true fans gives him credit for his hard work. Most of these trash talkers know better than this, the hell is the matter with these guys? How can you blame King Kamali for his hard work?
As a true fan of Kamali, i laughed as i read the "feedback" comments about him. Now i dont bad mouth nobody until i hear the yapping off about me. But the good old saying goes "keep your bad habits away from where you eat at", i see the trash talkers keep their sh*t on this board to get back at the IFBB's. Which makes it a nice hide out for these guys.
Here's the new website http://www.kingkamali.com/index.html
Kamali isnt going anywhere in the IFBB as long as the true fans stays behind him. A question for King Kamali, why would you reply back to some of the useless comments on this board? Its already plenty of hilarious/one of a kind comments to get entertained by the trash talkers my man!
peace
p.s. Moderator MindSpin as much as you "love" kamali, dont delete this thread man - thanks duke

No.
I won't ask if you are one of the guys who spots Kamali on the Bowflex or the rack deadlift.
But I'm gonna ask you this:
How do you think Kamali would look if he came down in weight, down to competing at around 220lbs?

King works hard.................lov es this sport more than anything
one of my fav bodybuilders
passionate about the sport (as evidenced by his aggressive stage demeanor "not in my town")
brings a little "something" to bodybuilding,some fire/controversy
he's still at it...................... ......good for him
good to have him "back"!

King works hard but not very smart....
he needs to drop the poundages and learn how to perform his exercises correctly especially for his arms.
going too heavy is making his obliques overdevelop too...

hahahha i was shocked when i saw the pics of Farah and King side by side on Flex website. First thought that came to mind was "Gadamn how does Kamali deal with getting OWNED by Farah, one of his worst enemies?"

Can anyone post the Results of Tamali's Pro Contest History Record?
I believe he said he was going to surpass my accomplishments to where my name would be insignificant when his career was through. Just curious to see if he is still on track at 35 yrs old, I retired from the sport at 36. 8)

to equal your record at the Olympia he'd have to compete until age 92.
-
Don't call out Shawn for defending his bodybuilding record and for calling Tamali to task for being unable to back up his big, big mouth -- as everyone here knows, someone who poses naked and looks like he's trying to defecate (and not succeeding) has little ground to call out a perennial Olympia top-4 finisher.
It's not "excessive" pride to be proud of that kind of record. Kamali -- and you, for that matter --have "excessive" pride for (1) finishing top 6 and (2) putting up cheese-o-lah websites, respectively. ::)
-
Shawns character is one thing 240 , i personally dont care bout it, BB is about physiques, and no matter how big a jerk he is to you or you perceive him to be , he did bring a top package to each event he attended.. Now assualts on Kamali and Bob are diffrent , cause well they look like sh*t and talk out thier ass, but the kamali vs shawn , is based on kamali
being becoming a better BB which he is not nor will ever be. I dont want to seem like im nut riding anyone but as long as kamali looks like crap, he can never hold a candle to shawns career...ever..
-
they already dropped Ahmed Haidar - I guess they're making cuts on Team Muscletech
Either make cuts or jack up the prices on their "wonderful" products. * Moderators is that better...I replace the word crap with the word wonderful.

He wasn't back before leading up to the CO Pro. Something must've happened in the last two weeks.
Perhaps something personal between them that we don't know about. Because he was nice to Shawn Ray back then, and targeting Cicherillo.
Dunno what will happen now, since I think Cicherillo and Kamali are pretty good friends, and 240 trying to become friends with Kamali.
An interesting development in the upcoming weeks I guess.

He gets to over 300 pounds in the offseason so he should be able to compete at more than 235 pounds..
Getting over 300 in the "off" season has nothing to do with contest weight....If it did, he would compete at the same weight on stage as a cutler or close to even ronnie...
The guy shouldn't be any where near 300 in the offseason...way to much weight for him...He just has to torcher himself to get under 250 to get on stage...
I would rather see him get to no more then 260 in the offseason--stay around or under 10% and then compete around 230..All the while working on his weak parts.....separtion/size in legs, arm size of course and thats about it...Make a good attempt to bring down the slin belly and come in hard as f k'n nails at every show....

I totally agree with this... he doesn't have the structure to weigh 250+. guys this big need massive limbs to compensate for the added stomach size which comes with it

Kamali dead in the middle of the offseason could probably cut water and crash the stage at 270 pounds ;D
